If you are using a gimbal, then you can deactivate the image stabilizer from the camera app( on the phone) and that should also get rid off the" lens clipping" ,but should work just fine with the 3x

Can I zoom in to 3x and not see the lens? Also, do you think it’d be great to video my son’s baseball games with this?
