Love it!! So many gems and nuggets of wisdom that you can’t get without talking to someone one-on-one. Literally felt like I was talking to you guys in person 😊
It was hard to keep the interview shorter with Mario. So easy to talk to.
I love watching these things. I’m a PA. I had my first job in family medicine. Worked there for 22 months and had to leave. The thing about paperwork, etc being so bad is yes! That’s one reason I left. We were scheduled 8-5, with no admin time. And they wanted us seeing at least 20-22 patients a day. I was taking so much work home, on weekends, staying late, etc. at my office, we were also working a Saturday 4 times a year and that same week, on call for that week once the clinic closed. So it was rough. The thing I like about the flexibility is I’m able to change specialties so I’m looking into general surgery or hospital medicine. In family medicine in Florida, straight out of school I started with 100k a year.
I am sorry this happened to you. On day 1 of Residency, I started receiving all the admin messages before meeting my patients! There is a lot of admin work, and I would encourage you to fight for an admin day if you return to FM. Unsustainable what you were working! I hope to do clinic, inpatient medicine, and OB as part of my practice :)
@@AaronTrillo oh for sure! Even if not in family medicine, I’m making sure I’ll have enough time to chart and not have to take it home. You learn from your mistakes and luckily it wasn’t the worst mistake just a stressful one.
I can’t find part 1 :(
Hmm I thought it was in the description. Here it is anyways! ruclips.net/video/JyVv7RE3tNA/видео.html
This is by far one of my favorite interviews. Gracias Aaron again for being down for this project and it definitely won’t be the last of us. 🫡🔥🇲🇽
Mine too man. It is absolutely not the last of us.
