Bro you have really helpful with everything especially when it came to get an exhaust. I drive a bmw e90 similar to yours and I have a muffler delete on it and am looking forward to getting the resonator delete as I love how aggressive yours sounds👍👍
So after filming this, I realized I had gotten the wrong inlet size which is why it was a little too big for the stock muffler piping and I had to do all that extra stuff. I am able to get the correct size available on the site though at some point soon for anybody interested in these also! If you still have your stock muffler and tips you could install these by simply hammering out the stock tip and sliding these on and clamping them down. That’s it. Without doing any of what I did in the video. I’ll probably also have these available in regular carbon fiber.
Definitely interested..can’t wait for these to go up for my F32
FYI Anyone looking to add to an M Performance Exhaust - inlet is 67mm.
@@battleaxe4784 is this for 320i 2012?
@@addictionsremindmeofthesum5137 not sure about 320i, but my 2015 435i with m performance exhaust is 67mm inlet. Best way to check is to hammer off the tip and measure or use calipers to measure the pipe
@@battleaxe4784Question for you, Battleaxe, when you got the 67mm tips for your MPE, did the slide on easily? And was there slight wiggle room? The reason I ask is because I have some of these CF style tips in a 63mm and putting them on my stock exhaust just wasn’t working because of how lose they are. I believe the diameter of the exhaust piping is 60mm. To fit properly, I’m guessing a tip should be around 61mm. The reason I’m asking is because I want to get a m performance exhaust for my 435i and I’m hoping I could use these tips I currently have for it. I read on a forum post that someone was even able to use their stock tips on an MPE. No matter what video I’m watching on these tips, they always seem bigger than they need to be.
Just a heads' up - I had a set of these in regular gloss CF, in black, clamps and all and agree they looked awesome (aside from trying to hide the clamps) - for about year... the black paint eventually chipped and bubbled on the edge of the metal tip and started peeling off. I tried to touch up with high temp paint, but it was futile effort. They look pretty good - especially if you can work around the janky clamps - but they are not built to last unfortunately, especially in climates that see substantial winters. Maybe it was just my set, or bad luck but I'm replacing with a set of OEM M Performance Chrome tips to avoid future headaches.
Oh wow thanks for the heads up! Didn’t even consider that but now I’ll keep that in mind and look out for that defect. Hopefully they’ll last awhile since I don’t really get harsh weather here in SoCal
Black on black. Can't see the difference.
