After a couple of weeks of watching reviews for all kinds of scooter (I'm 5'10" 175 lbs and I plan to commute 11 miles each way from Queens to Manhattan) I choose the Segway MAX. The Horizon was a close 2nd. Deal breaker for me is that the MAX looks sturdier/built like a tank and low maintenance.

Recently brought the GoTax V2, on the first day the battery died when I was on 3 bars. Tried to start it up many times no luck. Waited a bit to see if it was an overheat problem, still no luck. Then I had to pedal another 2 miles to reach my destination. Got home and plugged it in. 3 bars showed up and I'm like wtf? Contacted their customer support, so far no answer in 2 days. Even tried calling them, no response. I would try and avoid the GoTrax V2 at all cost! I have read many reviews after I had my problem and it seems people are having similar problems too. Please do a review on the Xiaomi Scooter!
It doesn't makes sense to buy xiaomi in the US. They never go on sale and are still at their original MSRP price at many places. The exception is non pro m365. But I got a Segway Max for the price of the m365 pro.
Gotta correct you: Bird uses an Electisan, and Lime uses a custom design by a different company. While both have used Segway-Ninebot ES before, both have moved on to custom designs. Lyft and Spin also used ES, and they’re the ones who moved onto Segway-Ninebot MAX scooters.
Tech We Want Yeah, I’m speaking for Denver at least! The four we have here are Bird, Lime, Lyft, and Spin. I’ve visited cities in other states with other companies though!
I have 767 miles on my Hiboy S2 scooter [~$400 on Amazon] and love it! This scooter should have been included here. [Perhaps you couldn't reach an agreement with anyone representing them to compensate you?]
Back in the days, the electric scooter was not as light and portable as now. That gives us the opportunity to choose a portable electric scooter for sale that will suit our needs almost perfectly
I have the gotrax scooter and I am very happy with it. The only thing that worried me is when I have a flat tire. Speed is great and the battery doesn’t last that long as estipulateed
E scooter tires are a problem with FLAT TIRES. Nobody repairs small, high pressure tires. In my area, there is lot's of construction, so I've had numerous flats. I own the ninebot es4. It broke down on me twice in 6 months. The company had to send me a new one twice. SO I can't imagine how you could recommend this product
GoTrax has two new, more powerful scooters for 2020. The GoTrax XR and XR Ultra. On sale on their site for $299 and $399. Good scooter. I'd pay the extra $50 to get the XR. At $399 the XR Ultra is a bit pricey for what it offers, but it's a good scooter. The Ninebot Max is excellent, but it's $799 and quite heavy.
Been riding one for nearly a year now. It's a nippy little thing for the price. I personally swapped the inflatable tyres out for semi-solids due to my commute to work being through a shithole of an area with bloody horrible roads causing punctures! Also, if you have or have access to a 3D printer, a cargo hook and mudguard stabiliser are good ideas. But all in all it's a lovely little scooter. I made up a Bluetooth speaker mount for mine. Sod the bell, the pedestrians will hear me coming when they hear Slayer playing! \m/ EDIT: I've not got the pro. I've got the standard.
The zero 10x is on a whole another level. It's in line with scooters like fluid free rides mantis and and the currus NF. These scooters are heavier and less portable. I would have thought twice before putting it on this list. Awesome review though 👍👏👏👏
I liked xiaomi until I got flat tire. My friend got xiaomi and he got flat tyre too. It was a nightmare to replace the tyre. As a matter of fact, the tyre replacement I failed. The design is really poor and it is almost impossible to replace it. I ordered a solid tyre and am waiting for it. I hope it works.
The Hiboy S2 is very similar and comes with solid tires. They have perforations which make them ride a little softer. This scooter also has rear suspension which helps quite a bit. The rear wheel holds most of the weight.
I just bought a 2020 Synergy Sport dual 800w electric scooter... and it is fast!!! Patrick... i saw a guy today roughly 6'1 around 240 pounds, test ride the same scooter, and the scooter is a beast! I got it on sale for $1,700 regular price $2,000. This is my third scooter... i went all out as i wanted a sturdy beast with long range that goes super fast! 🛴 = 🙂
UNAGI SCOOTER RENT/MEMBERSHIP REVIEW / USA , New York 2020 I was super exited about this one but i didn't expect it to be a disappointment because there are so many amazing reviews on it and most of them are not being paid to give a good review. Since they have no place to review it on their official page, i'm sharing my thought with you here. So if you are like me, looking for the right/perfect scooter, i think you need to read this. So the cool thing about this scooter is that you can either rent it for 40 buck a month or buy it for 990. The membership is too high in my opinion, that’s where they actually get you with that “one-time registration” of 50 dollars!! But fine, at least you get to try it out and rent it before you go spending a 1000 for a scooter you might not like. So the delivery was super fast, that was a nice surprise. Once i registered I received an email asking me to pick the time of delivery for the following day (options were between 10-2pm or 2-6pm). The next day i received a link where you can see the driver’s location in real time. That was a cool thing and who doesn’t love a 24hr delivery, right?! It seemed promising so far! But, ehh not really.. The driver arrived and handed me the scooter (out of it’s box) the charger and cable. No manuals, no instructions or booklet, nothing. So i called customer services just to make sure that i am not missing any paperwork or instructions, but there was no one to speak to, instead you could leave a voice message, your phone number and name and the reason you are calling AAAND if it is urgent you can email them. LOL really? Email for help? what if it were an emergency??So, their customer service is non existing, so that was very disappointing as i had to go back online and read about instructions. So first let’s start now with the things i liked about it: The design of the scooter looks sleek, modern and sexy, so yes it is pretty. It is a little bit lighter than other scooters of similar specs (no wonder there are a lot girls riding it), it is suuuper quiet (if you like that) although ppl sometimes get stunned when they see me ride past them as i appear like a ghost all of a sudden. And the one-click fold works great, so unfolding is effortless. There are 3 speeds, and you have the option of turning on the dual motor function, so those rides up the hill are effortless. Now sadly i do have more things that i disliked about it..And i was so hoping and really wanted this this one to be THE best scooter for me. First of all, whoever said this scooter was a smooth ride must have been drunk! For those who are not familiar, the tires on this scooter are “made of solid rubber and puncture proof, so they’ll never foil your morning commute.” I’m guessing they were scaling between ‘Would you rather never get a flat tire? or would you rather have a nice, enjoyable, smooth ride??’ Honestly, i would now pick a flat tire once in a blue moon than a super rough, bumby, and unpleasant ride every day! I kid you not, the ride is so damn bumpy that i started having headaches every time i would ride it. Because the tires are so hard, you feel every single crack, bump and rock on the road, all the way from your jaw to your forehead! So annoying! So i would constantly have to watch and focus on the ground, avoiding any cracks and bumps and the continues vibrations from them made me feel tense while driving and it kills the fun of it. It definitely did not make the ride enjoyable. Recently i even fell because i thought it could cross a thin hose on the street, even though i lowered the speed. Now on top of everything i don’t feel as safe on it. Even my partner who has an amazing scooter (no i will not mention the brand name, but if you ask i will tell you) and he tried it and said it truly is a rough ride. His scooter btw is so smooth on the road as if you are riding on butter! Also there is no cruise control, which i think they need to incorporate as you have to keep your right hand on the accelerator non stop, and if you need to fix your mask or glasses (i’m a righty) good luck if you hit a bump! But at least now i know exactly what i am looking for in a scooter. So i will not be extending my membership after all, even after only a month of using it. I guess the good thing about it all is that you can rent it and see for yourself. But i would not recommend it, in all honesty. Best of luck and if you do, wear a helmet!!! Pros: fast delivery / lighter than other scooters with similar specs/ super quiet / one-click easy unfold / emergency manual back brake Cons: came with no manual or instructions / tires too hard, terribly bumpy, definitely NOT A SMOOTH RIDE/ no cruise control / doesn’t not show how many miles you have left, only the battery bars / glossy finish (looks a bit cheap in my opinion, i think a matte finish would be sexier).
Is it really a downer if a scooter doesn't come with an app or colored lights ? Had my E-TWOW scooter for almost 5 years and never let me down, full suspension and a top speed of 17mph with a tested by me range of just over 20 miles it originally cost £269 from Tesco online but prices have since gone up. Known under other names such as Uscooter, Funbeee Scooter or E-TWOW Scooter. May sound strange but it gets more use in Winter when there's ice on the ground as I feel safer on it's two small wheels than I do on foot.... :)
I envy you! In Germany we ONLY see the world's trashiest E-Scooters thanks to a law explicitly designed by lobbyist to keep the (superior) competition (mostly from China) out. The E-Scooters sold here are so bad, you won't even see them in shops anywhere else in the world. It's like stuff from at least 5 years ago (technology-wise). Our corrupt politicians instantly passed a law which prohibits all e-scooters above 20 km/h (12 mph) max speed. Those below need an expensive certificate. Of course - this certificate can be denied (and hence the politicians can keep unwanted competition from their money-paying-lobbyists). In short: they got rid of all upstarting companies with superior technology, so that only the big money wielding companies can remain, unchallanged. Man I remember the time when corruption was rare and people didn't even believe that some politicians could be bought. Now everyone knows for a fact, that 99,9% of our laws only serve the companies... I really envy you at least having state-of-the-art e-scooters.
WHOA. I’m not-(well not gonna say my age on here but just uhh i’m young). I am asking for a scooter that goes 18 mph for christmas. it’s the hiboy max. i can’t believe you can’t go over 12mph!
My friend had a hiboy electric board. It wouldn't turn off after 6 months or so. But hiboy warranty quickly replaced it. If you get it, I'd suggest buying the extended warranty from Amazon but I think it's a solid budget choice
Macwheel breaks down and Gotrac is dangerous, so I read in Amazon. If in the market, I'd may investigate the Segway Max more, since commercial companies use it. Important to know what "really" pushes over 200 lbs also. For the moment, I really don't have a particular use for one, but I may one day :)
General Ivan I have the max. Seen a guy with u scooter. That thing is super fast. He had it for a while no complaints no sending back to company for repairs. The max is a smooth ride it gets up hill with no problem. Wish it was a bit faster tho
You guys forgot to review or add the Xiaomi M365 Pro here since that's a 2019 revised model of the original Xiaomi M365, thoughts on it? Here's my feedback on it: great acceleration, range, greater braking power & finally they added a LCD screen hehe! Will get the Ninebot MAX next year since it won't retail until 2020!😁🛴

Hahah, omggg, my ears literally hurt after hearing those unfortunate tons. Indeed is like you've said - this music loves itself for being nothing! No truer words were spoken.
Owner of Xiaomi M365 pro...one of the best e-scooter on the market, 45 km+ range on S mode. A huge community, a lot of modding potential, simple to maintain. The only minus from my point of view is the lack of suspension. And it's cheap.
Please note: You are not allowed to ride a powered vehicle - other than an electric bicycle which complies with the EAPC Regulations - on public land in the UK. On private land, with the owners permission, is OK, but anywhere else, like a cycleway or the road, may get you fined, the vehicle confiscated and points on your driving licence. Ignorance is no defence.
I would stay way from hover1 , I email customer care over 3 days with no response with me and my wife emails. Returning to wal-mart find a different brand.
I have the Hiboy S2 and it is working well. 2 rear fenders broke on it but the 3rd is holding up well. Hiboy replaced the broken fenders at no charge at all.

May sound strange but it gets more use in Winter when there's ice on the ground as I feel safer on it's two small wheels than I do on foot.... :)
Guys wich one should i buy? I was thinking about xiaumi idk can someone help me?
Same shit in Holland!
@@pinopino1086 Not at all lmao. In Holland it's just plain illegal to use an e-scooter on the public road, nothing else.
WHOA. I’m not-(well not gonna say my age on here but just uhh i’m young). I am asking for a scooter that goes 18 mph for christmas. it’s the hiboy max. i can’t believe you can’t go over 12mph!
The Unseen really hope your wrong i just bought a e scooter from germany really hope its good and not like 5 years old its a volteboard m400 pro
Any thoughts on the hiboy s2 vs max? It's another budget scooter but more features and the reviews look good. Thanks.
My friend had a hiboy electric board. It wouldn't turn off after 6 months or so. But hiboy warranty quickly replaced it. If you get it, I'd suggest buying the extended warranty from Amazon but I think it's a solid budget choice
@@DavidMFBowie Thanks! I'm also waiting for the back pack escooter mini falcon, it's still in preproduction so you never know if it will come out
767 miles on mine. A couple of broken fenders wh/ were replaced at NC. No other problem to speak of. Loving my Hiboy S2!

"18MPH" should read "18 Mile range"
Macwheel breaks down and Gotrac is dangerous, so I read in Amazon. If in the market, I'd may investigate the Segway Max more, since commercial companies use it. Important to know what "really" pushes over 200 lbs also. For the moment, I really don't have a particular use for one, but I may one day :)
Look at the Hiboy scooters.
I want to by sir? How much the price?
Costco has the es3 on sale for $500
(reg $580) with dual batteries for range of
28 miles and max speed of 18mph
I'm interested in your views on the U-Scooter V, Wide-Wheel and/or the yet to be released Raine scooter that is on kickstarter right now.
General Ivan I have the max. Seen a guy with u scooter. That thing is super fast. He had it for a while no complaints no sending back to company for repairs. The max is a smooth ride it gets up hill with no problem. Wish it was a bit faster tho
Fantastic suspension system on the original E-Twow design but the front shock does need care as it does take a beating, especially on cobbles.... :)
Good morning I wanted to know the mercane wide wheel 2020 dual motor scooter or the kugoo m4 is better
Can you do a review of a electric scooter called Colorway on Amazon and also whats the difference between the Segway ES2 and the E22E
Yh same I saw that scooter on amazon and it had no reviews so I’m interested too
How to usE the promo code.
Awesome reviews ever got
Why didn’t you say anything about the es4 ride on bumpy rodes?
it's fine
Where's the xiaomi m365 pro?
They forgot to order one lol. Hopefully they can review it someday.
It's there.. just put a couple of stripes on the regular m365.
@@zro6828 The range is extended up to 45 km
Hiboy scooters are modified versions of the Xiaomi basic scooter it seems. My Hiboy S2 is running well at 767 miles.
Click bait , this is 2019 reviews
Nigga said in 2019, but the title is 2020
Im thinking of getting one to get me from home to job and back in the city.
How the batery life on this things?
I'd recommend the Xiaomi m365 pro it can take you like 12 miles on full speed, 15-17milea on normal / eco speed it feels fast too.
Selling my car to get one of these!!
Good idea! You will save a lot of money
Can use a ride service in bad weather and probably save a ton of $.
Chill
Cheef Sosa hahahahaha
You guys forgot to review or add the Xiaomi M365 Pro here since that's a 2019 revised model of the original Xiaomi M365, thoughts on it? Here's my feedback on it: great acceleration, range, greater braking power & finally they added a LCD screen hehe! Will get the Ninebot MAX next year since it won't retail until 2020!😁🛴
Yes we know about the M365 Pro but unfortunately we didn’t get one to test and review! It does seem like a great scooter with improvements over the original M365
@@TechWeWant Yup! It would make the Pro version a great contender for 2019's line up. A lot of people were expecting you guys to review the Pro version but oh well next time perhaps?
Are they licence free im guessing so since can push
Can anyone tell what is the size of Thunderbird E SCOOTER?
I have a electric scooter that goes 36.3KM/H. And it’s the best scooter in the world. No joke.
What’s it called x
Hopefully my micromobility gets legalized in my state soon. Can't wait to buy my first scooter!

How much this electric scooter?
Don’t know if anyone is interested but if you’re looking for an app for electric scooter the one I’ve found that works is.. Xiaomi home...
Segway Ninebot is the best! That's why I'm ambassador for it in the Netherlands! :)
Even if its illegal, LOL
in germany its not allowed more then 20 km/h
I need buy one, but i don't know which good for top speed and good brand, someone help me please. Thanks
Buy the Kaabo mantis get the pro for more range
Inkblock! Beantown kid 🤙
what about the range on the Unagi?
So can you ride these in the streets with cars?
Yes, depending on your local laws and rules!
i have a ninebot es3 can you review it
What is the first one (name)
I got Unagi but the range is beyond terrible. I get 10km at very most. Usually closer to 8km
Which one do you have? Single motor or dual?
@@TechWeWant the dual. I like it, great power and build but the range is very disappointing
@@LeeroyJenk Should of watched the review vid of it 1st prior to purchasing one. Highly recommend the Xiaomi Pro if you want greater range & acceleration.
@@LeeroyJenk These electric scooters range take the rider weight into factor a lot. Heavier people will definitely get less mileage to cover.
I agree. The Unagi range is trash. And it just hits up to 14mph . It just looks nice. I wonder if it can be modded.
Do they come with seat ???
No
I have a Ninebot Max and Unagi Model One. I personally like the Unagi scooter better, because it look’s better, it is lighter, and it’s smaller. Overall it’s way sleeker then the Ninebot Max.
I am a big guy, so smaller is not an option. My Ninebot MAX, when outfitted well, is ideal for 6 ft, 200lb guys. My Channel shows mine & Mods.
Whats the title of the music called does anyone know
This music loves its self for being nothing.
Hahah, omggg, my ears literally hurt after hearing those unfortunate tons. Indeed is like you've said - this music loves itself for being nothing! No truer words were spoken.
What song is this?!
am i missing something?
Anyone know how to remove the speed limit for a scooter
go wheels ex pro?
Owner of Xiaomi M365 pro...one of the best e-scooter on the market, 45 km+ range on S mode. A huge community, a lot of modding potential, simple to maintain. The only minus from my point of view is the lack of suspension. And it's cheap.
and the pneumatic tires u can't change
So no dualtron?
Noobs
Please note: You are not allowed to ride a powered vehicle - other than an electric bicycle which complies with the EAPC Regulations - on public land in the UK. On private land, with the owners permission, is OK, but anywhere else, like a cycleway or the road, may get you fined, the vehicle confiscated and points on your driving licence. Ignorance is no defence.
Not everybody is living in the UK broski
What about the DIDO F16... Have anyone tried it, is it suitable for a 12 year?
why dont you ever see the Denver scooters anywhere on youtube? They are made in Denmark and far nicer finished then most of brands mentioned here...
I’m in the rich people section of RUclips.
Imagine having this kind of money
My choice is Segway Ninebot MAX G2. On my tiny Channel, I show a few ideal Mods to make. Turn your e-scooter into a Fun Tool !
Any scooter theft issues? Built in "find my scooter?" How to secure? Anyone know?
You cant really leave these unguarded
It's not tech we want
It's tech we can't afford
I would stay way from hover1 , I email customer care over 3 days with no response with me and my wife emails. Returning to wal-mart find a different brand.
Daniel Vinson noooo don’t do it 😥😥
Give them a chance 😥😔😭
For 1600$ I would buy a real gas scooter like a vespa or honda ...

What about the Hiboy Max?
I have the Hiboy S2 and it is working well. 2 rear fenders broke on it but the 3rd is holding up well. Hiboy replaced the broken fenders at no charge at all.
Dave McWhinnie nice.
You must judge everything by how much it cost Expensive dosnt actually meen good
can you also try Inokim scooters?
when everything sucks in 2020 so you have to watch a review made in 2019
Song?
