What about increasing taxes on freight going into to NYC over the NJ bridges? This would raise the prices of just about everything in Manhattan. NJ also refines much of New York’s heating oil and fuel so you could consider raising these costs as well
Oil and fuel from NJ is delivered to NY by pipelines. I can’t even imagine trying to drive an oil tanker truck through lower Manhattan

A trip into NYC used to cost us as a family about $100 (tolls parking and food) I can't imaging taking the family into the city today.
Take the train
Congestion pricing works to reduce congestion traffic the same way as giving every American a gun to reduce gun violence. Sure, it will spot reduce it.....but where will that problem go to then? People are not giving up there cars, especially if they went into debt just to get them.
New Yorks nickname is the empire state. In my book it's the empire of corruption they should change it to that 😊
Anything that increases the cost to be in NY is good. It will help keep the poor working class people out. Give us your rich,, give us your liberals
