- 2021 MATRYX 850 on the dyno at Bikeman Performance. This video will show you where to clutch your machine to be at peak power. See back to back runs to see what the power does as the pipe heats up.
When you going to do a 650?
Will that flash be available for the 2019's? Can you compare the 2020 flash with the 2021 flash?
Thanks for your time and effort!
Thanks Joey.
Have you noticed any difference in power on the dyno between the fuel modes?
2021 850’s look very strong compared to previous years, what makes this one so strong? Just an updated flash or did they change mechanicals?
I believe they changed the ECU strategy, reeds and exhaust valve operation.
So you’re telling me this is “on par” w a sidewinder now?? I just got the vr1 850 and have been dying to get on it!
You're gonna be a sad man when that 18 year old triple runs by ya😂
@@dirtyfacegeorge9938 I’ll put bus lengths on him for the first while but he’ll go right by me at the top end for sure
@@dirtyfacegeorge9938 Wont be a sad man after a long day of riding and he can still walk lmao fk those old dogs
Remember torque is what you really feel, that's why sidewinders are so fast, incredible torque.
Something wrong with the dyno? It doesn't seem as smooth as it was before when rpm rises.
He said it was programmed to rise in 25rpm steps. The steps can be noticed if you're really focusing.
at 5:55 a red warning comes up on the Polaris 7SDD gauge. What was that about?
The parking brake is locked it just is a parking brake warning.
Was this 850 out of break in mode already? Im assuming yes!?
He says it in the video
This is non turbo?
2022 850 horsepower?
Sure, lean it out for 8 seconds and watch those HP figures climb. Try that in the real world and watch it grenade .
Might wanna say what all has been done to it.
stock ,,,turbo does 194 +
Which fuel setting is this on?
Premium
180?
And it started to drop right away where as to cats stay around there max hp for a while
@@edwardabrahamiii3742 you want a linear power curve. Not stay the same.
Would feel flat.
@@edwardabrahamiii3742 well yes ofc it dosent drop only 165 hp is not hard to achive
@@mikkejalonen9050 id rather have my power stay where the max hp is rather than loose horsepower
@@daveclausner id rather have my hp feel flat an stay at top end for longer then falling flat
Hey Joey...why no wide open long pull like the Cat 800??? Pretty sure there will be SCRAP metal everywhere!!! Thats why!!!
Ok , but they don’t feel like this HP at all ?!?
Apparently not enough, they need 50 more cc,s to keep up with arctic cat !!!!! Garbage !!!!!!
Cats are junk I've had them
@@edwinhermanson8842 anytime your really I'll take on any piece of junk you have !!!!!!
