"Different wars have different strategies, don't restrict yourself to JUST ONE". "Do it TREMBLING but TRUSTING". This is really amazing. Thank you Yvonne.
The interview I didn't know I needed 🥺 I kept snapping fingers cos whaaattt 🙌🏽 When she talked about being giving the option of failing, that hit hard! This was so real, I love Yvonne even more. God bless you, Amen 🤍🤍
I’m a huge fan of Yvonne! And though I’am not Nigerian (at least I don’t know that for sure lol) she made me realize that I too never had the space to fail. Every since I was young, I was rewarded for my grades and so as an adult who doesn’t have it together all the time. I’m learning how to navigate feelings towards myself around not always getting things right all the time. I’am allowed not to know things. I’am allowed to have to sit and decide later. I don’t always have to be “ready”. 💡
Watching Yvonne makes me love her more, I love how Nigerian and original she is, she’s honest and very direct. I love you Yvonne, this was a great interview and I enjoyed listened to you speak, Ebuka well done 👍
I enjoyed this so much, and I must say, asides the fun part of it all, there were so many things to learn from all she shared. Now I can't wait for the part 2
I love this episode and I agreee with almost everything going on. I just want Ma. Yvonne to differentiate that most of what she’s explains could be a specific family dynamic and not the collective nigerian experience.
Exactly. Asking her if bullying had a positive effect on her. That's just implying that bullying has its positive aspects. That question shouldn't have been asked. I literally rolled my eyes.
I love the switch between her yankee accent and her Nigerian accent 🤣🤣
