- Banky W and Adesua Etomi or the Wellingtons as they’re famously known are undoubtedly two of the most popular faces in the country. Banky W, a musical icon, entrepreneur and politician kicked off his estimable career many years back while schooling in the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in New York. After graduating, he moved back to Nigeria at the tail-end of the noughties where he quickly established as one of the greatest musical minds the country has ever seen. Adesua Etomi, his wife, has led an equally exemplary career as well. After graduating the University Of Wolverhampton with first-class honours, she also moved back to Nigeria where she distinguished herself as one of the country’s leading actors.
For the first of its kind, the pair join Ebuka in the Blackbox, discussing their individual careers, family, childbirth and much more.

I will never forget when I met BankyW at Cobham Asuquo's studio in 2009 while he was recording Strong Thing. BankyW actually told me to join him to eat pasta while I was waiting at the reception hall to see Cobhams. He didn't know me from anywhere but being a very nice guy, he offered for me to join him to eat. We exchanged contacts but unfortunately my phone was stolen, so I couldn't get in touch with him again on time to get to work with him

Any man who is not ready to settle down will treat a great lady like trash, and that so true. Banky understands this. As a lady, if you're the one man till marriage kinda girl, don't ever date a man who is not ready. That relationship will almost always not lead to marriage. They are not ready and so they don't care how you feel when they wrong you because they believe they'll move unto the next girl just after you've gone. This conversation is both educative and fun💕

There's sth God needs to explain to us about and that it knowing if the misfortunes surroundings the pursuit of our goals are blessings in disguise or warnings from going further. Mr Wellington is quite an intelligent man, I enjoyed listening to his view on politics, I mean, he almost convinced me (almost, because I really still do have my reservations about politics in Nigeria).

Okay, THIS is one of the most interesting interviews I've watched and I'm a female but I'm taking serious notes here. I've binged both episodes shamelessly and I can honestly say that I learned alot about both of them as indivuduals and as a couple and I've also gleaned a lot of value from their experiences and how they were able to come to this level.
