Great fun challenge and I honestly really really recommend EZ Keys and EZ Drummer 2 not only for the sounds but for the creative process. There's so many amazing features!! Add to that the simplicity of working with EZ Mix 2. Go Toontrack!
I really feel sorry about myself because I am discovering toontrack only now its a masterpiece. people dont need to take long time to finish a song because everything is simplified.

In 1980 in NYC my wife (at the time) were in an apartment studio, having just driven from Livingstone NJ, & I heard this identical song but it was called waterfall. Almost identical words but the word waterfall replaced the word tidal wave. Amazing as I don't think the waterfall song ever hit the charts.
I've been using EZ Drummer for a while. I programmed all the drums for my band Idora's second CD, Wildcat, using it. While we're more of a hard rock style, I've been intrigued by EZ Keys and what it has to offer. You may have just sold me. Great job, guys.

To use these plugins is not to just let it make songs for you, but to utilize it in a way that gives the composer an idea of how to make a song. Personally, I would use Ezkeys to help me develop chord progressions and build my own creativity from there, not even using the piano patterns developed by the plugin. As far as Ezdrummer, I would completely use every tool since I'm not a drummer myself, much like paying for a session drummer. However, I will make sure my own creativity and uniqueness is poured out through my songs when I use these tools.
Very cool. Beautiful melody, gorgeous voice, solid bass. This was very inspirational to see what could be accomplished with these tools.

The end result sounds great. I've been playing with easy drummer but have trouble getting drum levels to sound anywhere near this good at the moment. Nice video guys!

I use these products constantly. It's such great stuff and makes the workflow so easy as to not kill the creativity. Great song here! I can't find the full version at the link in the description, though.

Hi, really interesting, well done. One question, at about 4.12, you start using Drummer 2. You say you "drop this into midi drop zone". What exactly did you drop into midi drop zone? There's no explanation of what goes in there. I think for us less experienced users this is really important as what you dropped in there is integral to how the drum track ended up. Hello, I'm new to Toontrack and am confused about EZKeys.. Unlike EZDrummer and EZMix, I'm not finding a single/main product called EZkeys.. Rather I'm finding dozens of EZKeys instruments and Midi Packs.. What should I start with?? Or does it not matter, just pick any, such as Mellotoon?
Will you guys be so kind to share what kind of microphone you are using to record and where you get it? Do you connect it directly to the Mac or there is an accessory in between? Thank you for your work and efforts

Hi, This is the EZkeys Upright Piano and the EZdrummer library they're using is the Indie Folk EZX.
toontrack...you took so long to provide these in my days...now i have no money to buy your products and i've wasted them away on some BS like steven slate drums when i could easily bought EZ keys and EZ drumer 2 so i could write many songs.....AGHHH!!! SMH!!! I'M FRUSTRATED RIGHT NOW!!!
yep, then many of us come to the realisation that no matter how good the equipment you buy is, some kid with a smartphone will write the next hit ... I guess, we do it for the love of the art form, the process can inspire and infuriate the inner musician/producer in many of us. So many tools these days to hone your chosen craft. Certainly doesn't help when you are poor due to the high cost of modern life and can't afford to buy any of this stuff, grrrr, lol @ me :P
