I have owned a 2014 RT and trade mine in for a F3S. I love it. I can see why motorcycle enthusiasts may not like them, but it works for car guys like my self. It is quick and handles well. I strongly recommend them.
bought one and my girlfriend and I cruise on it all over. I like it. care less about what people think. it makes me happy. planning on putting a turbo kit on it.

people really have no right to trash the Spyder unless you have put atleast 2 or 3hrs in the seat. I currently ride a ZX11 but have put many miles on various Spyders and I love them. They are completely different than a 2 wheeled bike, but just as much fun in a different way. My only complaint is the unavailable option to turn off traction and stability control.
F3S...forget about the unbaptized! These things are a perfect blend of motorcycle and Go ;Kart. Once the necessary skills are achieved, train braking under increasing acceleration, etc. there will never be a more versatile vehicle that a rider could ride.
A bike is a bike, 2 wheels or 3 - sidecar or trike they are all open air machines. It's plainly not a car, we'll see many more variants of this concept from Honda etc very soon!! Most of the idiots on RUclips commenting negatively can't even afford a CanAm not to mention any other bike of note! The world is full of big mouthed fucking haters.
Well said, mate as a Spyder owner, it"s refreshing to read sound comment, 2,3 and 4 wheelers are all motorcycles,atvs, the SPYDER WORKS ON THE ROAD, because two wheels up front is more reactive to steer, and superior to rear based designs, which get dragged round corners, and I have owned all types.
These F3s seem to be able to be ridden harder. That was what made me sell my 2013 RS-S. I hated the nanny program,it came in way too aggressively. My wife wants a RT but I'm more of an aggressive rider. It's a toss up between a F3-S or a BMW S 1000 XR.
Did you end up with the S1000??? I had an R1200GS and traded it for my F3S Daytona.. I had a 990 RS a few years earlier and thought the new spyder would be better.. After owning my Daytona for a couple of years I'm starting to regret my decision on trading the GS.. I thought the new F3S would be better than the RS I had a few years before.. One more gear, a real petrol tank position and more fuel is one thing, but the screen is hopeless, even the tallest Blueridge screen is hopeless if you're anything over 5'8" tall.. I had to spend an extra AU$200 for the MRA X-creen to sort out the buffeting.. The nanny control is a pain in the ärse even riding round a gentle left hander, I can turn it off with the press of a couple of buttons but unless I'm dragging the brake it still wants to slow me down. Also.. The seating position.. Sucks for fast cornering (which you can't do anyway because of the nanny control).. On the older 990 twin with the shape of the seat, you could slide off it sidecar style and drift the back wheel, but the F3S is styled more upright.. Kinda like a cross between a cruiser and a damn tractor.. You sit way too high on it... Anyhoo.. Sorry for moaning...
Quad's aren't legal because quads are not designed for on road use. read any manufacturers guide book, they all state the vehicle is designed for off road use.
There’s a lot more goin on here for stability and traction control that quads do not come with. Quads are strictly made for off road use and do not handle well in tar. Besides the obvious missing parts necessary for registration on road, mirrors, lights etc, they just aren’t meant to be on the road. On that same note I would take this on a dirt track. Different applications

I have the Harley and the Spyder. they ride differently . I like to ride both. The Spyder rides like a 4 weeler and is fun. I will never give up my lean in the curves of my two weeled bike.

I believe the 'S' model lets you turn it off. I know on the Ryker you can.
