Hi form NB, CA. I went to the RTR And the WRTR two years ago. I did a couple driving videos where things were down there I met Brian down there. Ohh while in quartzsite I had the heat on every night except 2-3 in 3 months
My husband's no fail trick for public speaking - put your reading glasses on, or in your case maybe take your glasses off, lol! Then all you see is a bunch of fuzzy forms that you're speaking to. 😅

What a beautiful blanket! Pendleton blankets are so beautiful. Wool is a great choice. Natural fibers are so much better. After 40 years of working and now finally retired, I only wear natural fibers. Now I’m craving carrots!!! 😂 you always have the best videos and ideas!!!❤

Hi Amanda…..because I live 30 seconds from 395 in Kennewick, WA….when my husband was still alive, 1 of our trips to CA, rather than taking I5 S near Portland ( we went that way so many times) we went 395 S…..it was a beautiful drive…..the parts you show to crossing in to Oregon…..I knew exactly where you were. You showed going over our Blue Bridge……I chuckled. We would normally go by I5 to CA because my husband’s step Mom lives in Vancouver, so we would stay 1 or 2 nights with her, before getting on the road to CA. Pendleton blankets are a m a z i n g! I didn’t know they had “seconds”…..I will go and get 1 when I have some extra cash. Your blanket is gorgeous, and they are worth every penny…..it will last you forever! I love all kinds of soups….one day I’ll be on the road……
Ohhhh! You got a blanket! I love Pendleton. My mom wore Pendleton suites and so did I in my working days when I worked in jobs where you could wear regular clothes. (I was an RN) They NEVER wear out. I still have some. Happy trails!
You can sleep in a Cracker Barrel’s parking lot in any town in the US. It’s 15:31 free and nobody bothers you. Also you should look into a Harvest Hosts membership, cheap and great private parking in a safe location. We RV’d for 8 years. Any truck stop also has the opportunity to shower and the showers are very clean.
I'm trying a Harvest Hosts membership this year... so far I enjoy the places I've stayed, but not getting as much use out of it as I thought (so many other options for a very small van like I use)

Yes, I did see you (Truck) the morning of the 29th! If you go more in the canyon down by the lake there are a lot more trees if you ever go back that way. I think I was about 30 minutes behind you that whole day but at Pendleton I headed East into the Blue mountains for the night and continued east the next day. That was such a beautiful drive when the sun started peaking out of the clouds. I wish I could meet you in Quartzite but can not make it this year. Oh well. Maybe sometime in Canada in the future. There is a nice hot springs at Hart Mountain, not far from Lakeview. I like hwy 395 as well but it is very often closed during winter around Mamoth-Bishop. Wish you a nice journey to QZ.

If it’s well-made blanket, it should last decades. I buy a pair of shoes now maybe I should buy more expensive shoes so be it, but they last about a year.

Hello. Hope your having a good day. Cool that you came thru Spokane. I live in Spokane Valley, there is a Costco here but no Trader Joe’s but we have a great view of the tail end of Selkirk Mts. I moved here from Midwest 9 years ago. Anyways just cool you came thru. Did you stay at the Hog Lake BLM land? We have camped out there before, not very spectacular but free and right outside of town. I love the drive on 395 too. I know you not going that way but I think it’s I-85 or 80 or something that runs along Columbia river gorge. Very pretty. Would have been cool to see you. What what there is something cool in Pendleton??? What! Will have to check that out, ok I’m rambling, good travels!!
I can’t recall the name but I think it might have been Hog lake. It’s all becoming a blur. I drove the 84 along the Columbia many years ago and really enjoyed it. Beautiful country.
I use to collect the Pendleton woolen button up tartan shirts back in the 80's.. Kinda wish I'd kept them. I imagine they would be considered collectibles these days.
Pendleton is a great place! Too bad you couldn''t have gotten a Pendleton shirt/jacket. Quality items that would last you a long time! Wrong time of the year for The Famous Pendleton Roundup but keep it in mind in case you ever pass through at that time. You'll never be sorry you got that blanket!
I’m not sure what the Pendleton Roundup is but it sounds fun! I might have got a warm top but I’m heading south and I bought a nice wool coat recently from a Canadian mill.

My grandmother's first job at 13 was at the Pendleton Woolen Mill in Camas, WA. Toured it with my mom on a school field trip when I was 15.
What a neat job to have, I hope to do a tour someday.

There is a nice hot springs at Hart
Mountain, not far from Lakeview. I like hwy 395 as well but it is very often closed during winter around Mamoth-Bishop. Wish you a nice journey to QZ.

Hi Amanda and Frank. It looks super cold out there with all that wind. Frank looks comfortable laying in the snow. I was shivering just looking at him. If it’s well-made blanket, it should last decades. I buy a pair of shoes now maybe I should buy more expensive shoes so be it, but they last about a year.

Hello. Hope your having a good day. Cool that you came thru Spokane. I live in Spokane Valley, there is a Costco here but no Trader Joe’s but we have a great view of the tail end of Selkirk Mts. I moved here from Midwest 9 years ago. Anyways just cool you came thru. Did you stay at the Hog Lake BLM land? We have camped out there before, not very spectacular but free and right outside of town. I love the drive on 395 too. I know you not going that way but I think it’s I-85 or 80 or something that runs along Columbia river gorge. Very pretty. Would have been cool to see you. What what there is something cool in Pendleton??? What! Will have to check that out, ok I’m rambling, good travels!!
I can’t recall the name but I think it might have been Hog lake. It’s all becoming a blur. I drove the 84 along the Columbia many years ago and really enjoyed it. Beautiful country.
I use to collect the Pendleton woolen button up tartan shirts back in the 80's.. Kinda wish I'd kept them. I imagine they would be considered collectibles these days.

Pendleton is a great place! Too bad you couldn''t have gotten a Pendleton shirt/jacket. Quality items that would last you a long time! Wrong time of the year for The Famous Pendleton Roundup but keep it in mind in case you ever pass through at that time. You'll never be sorry you got that blanket!
I’m not sure what the Pendleton Roundup is but it sounds fun! I might have got a warm top but I’m heading south and I bought a nice wool coat recently from a Canadian mill.

Brrrrrr, years ago I spent a night in Salmon, ID in December and it was one of my coldest nights in the van ever. Below zero F and I didn’t have a heater back then 🥶 I left Idaho pretty quickly the next day
