  • Rainbows are symbolic of good luck and are thought to bring us good fortune! I can't tell you how much I smiled while making these....I couldn't help it...blaming it on the bright, cheery colours! #chasingrainbows
A project with a feel good factor, using a stitch used all over the world, known as brick stitch! I'm making mine to gift to local key workers within our village who are working tirelessly to keep us safe during these tough times (2020).
    Materials:
Selection of Size 8/0 Seed Beads
(Colours that I used: Orchid Lined Crystal ; Duracoat Silver Lined Lt Amethyst, Matte Trans Capri Blue AB, Matte Trans Chartreuse, Silver Lined Lt Gold, Coral Lined Crystal, Salmon)
    Shepherd Hooks
    Jump rings
Closed silver rings (or make your own from 0.8mm wire)

Your wire work is just fine! If it looks too perfect, it doesn't look handmade, and that's the beauty of what we do, over what machines and robots can do.

Thank you Norma....was definitely out of my comfort zone in that section...but sometimes "needs must!" Thank you for being so kind! Keep well...x

I love those gorgeous rainbows, so cheerful. I have seen the round part of a round toggle clasp been brick stitched around so that’s another idea. Take care and stay safe x

That's a fabulous idea!!!! My wire working skills need much work!!! The toggle would be a much simpler idea!!! xx

So pleased you managed to get the gist of the 'ring' with my abysmal wire work skills! Someone else has suggested beading around the rounded end of a toggle clasp too! Good Luck! xx
