Brick Stitch Earrings - Circular

- Although this is another bead weaving basic in that it's a particular stitch - this demo illustrates how to make the beautiful earrings, using brick stitch, from start to finish but you'll also get an insight as to how to make a full set...earrings, pendant and a cute little ring!
Materials
3 colours of Size 8/0 Seed Beads - Duracoat Galvanised Silver; Persimmon and Turquoise Green Picasso
4mm Crystal bicones - Crystal Silver Night
Shepherds hooks x 2
Jump Rings x 2
Silver rings (10mm diameter) or larger if you prefer (There are NO rules!!!)...x 2 for the earrings, 1 more for the pendant and 1 for the ring

I would love to see a tutorial on the ring! This has given me the courage to pick up my brick stitch earrings and redo them. I added too many beads and thought I could get away with it. I need to start over! Thank you.
When I first tried it I was cramming my beads in too and then distorting the circular shape...so you’re not alone! So pleased you’ve found a ‘useful tip’ in this tutorial ...I’d love to see them once you’ve done them...x

So pleased you’ve found the demo useful Christina! Unfortunately...I’ve had the rings in my stash for years but most bead shops sell solid round rings...they might just be slightly different in size...x

You can buy the rings from Beadaholique and they're callled Beadalon Quick links. They have 2 kinds one is smooth and the other one has the swirls.

I have such a vast stash now... some from my days at Spoilt Rotten Beads, some from my days as a designer on Jewellerymaker TV , some from bead shows and the rest from bead shops like Tanzee Designs, Creative Beadcraft and Potomac Beads...BUT I couldn’t tell you exactly where I got these from...x
