I love this design! I can imagine it made with a huge variety of beads, whether with seed beads, cube beads, Delica, in glass, wood or gemstone. I look forward to digging through my "stash" to see what I have for making myself a pair. I think it would make a beautiful pendant too. Thanks so much for the terrific tutorial!
Omigoodness, this design is absolutely GORGEOUS! I am watching this to relax before I fall asleep and now I can't wait to get up tomorrow morning and try this out!! I have a couple different ideas of what to do with the negative space, I hope at least one of them works out for me. Thanks so much for sharing your design with us, it's very generous of you to do so. I'm so excited!
Watching the master at work. This is quite a unique piece of art. I watched this video twice, with no intention of making it any time soon. I love your videos, whether I think I can make them or not. Thanks Leslie, 'preciate it. 💙 [Stella in Austin, Tx.]
Wow! Gorgeous design! I love this! I just got the hang of brick stitch so I’m pretty excited to try something a little more complicated. I wish I had the cubes and different sizes of delicas. I really enjoy your tutorials. Thank you!
Hi Leslie. I don’t know if you are seeing comments now but here goes. I love your practice of using two links of chain as the findings attachment so ordered some. One was fine (030 cable in sterling) but the gold filled was too small to accommodate an earwire. Did some shopping around but am finding that the larger the mm size of the links on the gold filled chain the thicker the gauge which actually reduces the size of the void. 😮 I’ve gone ahead and ordered some larger chain (1216 and 1512 oval link cable) but was wondering if you’ve seen the same anomaly between the different materials and if so, do you know what’s behind it? For some reason round link chain isn’t readily available right now. (Wish I still have my silversmithing set up!) Hope the show went well.
It is absolutely beautiful. Thanks for sharing. Question: when you do the outter edge are you just brick stitching to the frame or catching an inside stitch? I will be trying this for myself. ❤❤❤❤😊😊😊😊😊
Thanks for the tutorial Leslie, and for the conversation about beads and sources. You are so helpful. Yesterday I played with different beads from my stash and frogged the sample several times getting the “best” fit. That’s okay, I like what I’ve come up with. Waiting for the chain to arrive before I finish but can see a lot of versions in the near future… as well as more beads in the future! (Does “I have enough” ever arrive?)
Beautiful pattern - thank you for sharing! so a question ... when you say, add 'chain' (to attach the earring wire) ... what are you using? it was hard to tell in the video. Thanks again! Be well!
Hi, I found a video of yours on how to finish bead looming. I was wondering where you get your beads? The ones I get have different sizes, not a big difference on size, but still make my finished product with bumps on some areas. Can you help? Thank you in advance!
Auntiesbeads.com has seed bead for a great price. They have sales on them all the time also. Sales give you a even greater deal. Also thread, tools and other types of beads. Low cost shipping and fast delivery as well.
I just made a pair and there is plenty of room. (Are you sure you used a 6mm?😊) If you are using the khaki iris square beads in the second row (they are in the small side) and Miyuki 8/0s in the third row then your 4th row should have room for at least delicas, if not the second color of square bead (which is a smidge taller). I can see someone having trouble if using Treasures or Toho 8/0s, some of those can be quite tall. I frogged the first one I did several times finding the right combination of beads (part of the fun!).
Chain instead of a jump ring....BRILLIANT! Such an awesome design, thank you so much for sharing this!
WOW! Letting go.....it took me a couple decades to learn to do that!
However I find your design ingenious.
Absolutely gorgeous! I am going to try this! Thank you for a great video!

Can you tell me the colors of each beads you used? The pair with the pink pearls. These are gorgeous.
Yes please, i like both, can you tell the colors you used?
Looks like a wonderful piece to bead. Unfortunately the volume went down so low you couldn't be heard.
Cute earrings! But where did you find 30mm stainless ring?
I got mine from Yakutum, an Etsy shop in Turkey, I believe. I've also seen them for sale from Potomac breads.
@@FlashyJackie1 Thank you for the info! I just love her designs!

Are you sure the center round bead is a 6mm? After making the center piece, there's no room for anything else in the 30 mm ring.

cant hardly hear. you are too far from your microphone. your work is beautiful.
Love the pattern but the sound is terrible. I have a high end sound card on my laptop and I can barely hear you. Please speak up!!
