It’s the start of training camp so the team is most definitely being cautious with injuries, even very minor ones. You want your guys to be as close to 100% as posible to start the season, so I’m not too surprised

Why are Packer fans so willing to say "just pay him" when everyone goes on and on about how Brady and Mahomes took less so they could put better players around them? When Rodgers got paid it was all about how they couldn't afford anyone else. And he had been there 18 years, a much larger sample size than 1 year.

That’s what I’m saying.. look, I really like Jordan. I think he’s a great kid who’s only going to get better and we are blessed to have stability at QB for so long, but how can one expect the largest NFL contract at a 7-8 game sample size.

I literally mentioned the same thing!!! Take 10 million less and compete for titles year after year!!! It’s not like 45 million is chump change!!! My lord man!!! Talk about ego and greed!!! They’re ALL HORRIBLY overpaid as it is!! Yes it’s a physical game but my lord!!! A couple million to me seems more reasonable… it’s a GAME for ENTERTAINMENT PURPOSES… just trying to put things in perspective… surgeons should be getting more! People that save lives and make this world turn should be getting compensated! Now I sound bitter lol but it’s true

He was the best QB second half of the year last year, but that is it. To be sitting out after only half a season of success is kind of wild. I like him a lot and super excited for the season, but it leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

Jordan Love doesn’t think that the Packers need to have a defined #1 wide receiver in order to succeed on offense in 2024-25, but he sees big things coming from 1 member of our receiving corps. Dontayvion Wicks caught 39 passes for 581 yards and 4 touchdowns after being drafted in the 5th round in the 2023 NFL Draft and then scored another touchdown in the playoffs to add a successful rookie season. Jordan Love suggested that was just the jumping off point for the wideout when he was asked about who will be the breakout player for the Green Bay Packers in 2024-25. Jordan Love mentioned Dontayvion Wicks fellow 2023 NFL Draft Pick and wideout Jayden Reed as a potential breakout candidate. Jayden Reed is coming off of leading the team with 64 catches, however, that leaves Dontayvion Wicks with a little more room to grow into the kind of player who best fits the category. Go Pack Go 💚💚💛💛

Two year contract for love. Roll the dice. If he’s as great as everyone says. Then his next contract will be well deserved. But, if he was a one year wonder. Then the Packers are not hamstring with a massive 4 year contract.

Idk why Green Bay in particular always has close to the most injured people throughout a season… I personally believe it would be stupid if we go into this season without grabbing one more FA corner…. I don’t like the depth of that room… I’ve said it a 1000 times, Gilmore would be a GREAT one year addition until next years draft. Still playing at an above average level starter

I hope love takes a little less $$ in order to keep this young core together going forward AND so we can add good free agents going forward… 45-48$ milly would be nice but of course he will take 55-57 milly… 10 MILLION is generational changing money!!! Why does EVERY PLAYER CONTRACT HAVE to RESET THE MARKET? Especially when none of these guys are better than Mahomes!! Mahomes and Brady seem to be the ONLY STAR QB’s I’ve seen that took less $$ to have a better supporting cast and look how many titles Brady and company won and look what the chiefs are doing!!! But no, GREED runs rampant!!! Set your ego aside and take less $$$!! It’s still LIFE CHANGING $$ for you and your WHOLE FAMILY! And your kids’s kids!!!
