"Because" Beatles cover

- This John Lennon song from 1969's "Abbey Road" is one of the most beautiful creations in rock history. I wanted to see what I could do with a stripped-down and slowed-down arrangement, and a rubato (flexible time) feel. Sorry for the crappy $100 guitar and dubious fingerpicking. I'm a bass player, dammit!

Eddie, you are a god... Merci for sharing your talent with us. You bring some light in my darks days.
I stand in awe of this performance! Harmony is flawless and spot on.
Really well done. I normally hate covers, but your comedy bits on youtube are so good I thought I'd give one of your covers a listen and am impressed with the good job you did.
Damn Ed. I didn't know you were musical. Great job!
wow, really beautiful. Those harmonies.... killer.
Mate, really sweet, timing is flawless, great job son!!
ohhhh, so sweetnes...mhmmmmmmm
This is beautiful Eddie. A great cover of one of the greatest bands ever.
Terrific cover there Eddie. First album I ever owned, I heard that song and was forever a Beatles fan. You did it very nicely for a bassist. I am a guitarist turned bassist so I get it. Very clean picking!
Wow! I didn't know that in addition to being the world's best Christian, you do some awesome vocal covers of some of my favorite music. If I weren't such a hard-core Christian, I'd be gay for you.
Jacky Gonzalez No no no...he doesn't mock Christians. He is a very strong believer.
Make-Make He's one of the most brilliant God-fearing minds of our lifetime! I was an ignorant skeptic until I found his channel, and through his commentaries and multiple irrefutable arguments, I have been touched by the Lord and my life will forever be better for it. I just hope he returns to fight the good fight for Christianity. Just like our savior's return, I'm pretty sure it'll happen any day now.
amazing! perfect tones!
MOBY CHANGES NAME TO EDDIE CURRENT: ILLUMINATI CONFIRMED.
But seriously, this is absolutely beautiful man. Great job.
Incredible !!! You do have a talent.
Thanks for putting yourself out there. Great video... well done.
Cheers.
Really nice cover of a beautiful song.
Great fucking job dude!!
Really like your channel too! Found it looking for a good Building 7 debunk and love all the humor, music and great entertainment. Jim
Wow! Bravo!
Good job! Thanks for sharing.
This is awesome!
Loved it. Not heard this song in about 15 years.
Excellent!!
Very haunting song. Classic
Very impressive!
Sweetness!
Beautiful!
Very Very Good my friend!!!
Great job.
I've seen/heard another guy doing this all by himself, with the video and all, and he did sound more like the Beatles, but YOU sound closer to the Beach Boys, and I prefer them as singers. If I was in a band with you, you wouldn't have to mess with the guitar. You're a great bassist, as your cover of "Pigs (Three Different Ones)" proved amply.
I have got to get a band of singers together. I compose music all the time, it's actually scary. But never had even three halfway-decent singers to use.
Dude, l didn't know you were triples. Of course you are the good looking one..
Here's the big question for me: Is this really just three voices? What you see is what you get? Impressive. I couldn't do this song like that, and have it sound good. I'd want to at least double, if not quadruple, each part. If I just did one take of the three parts, frankly, it would sound weak and strained. I'm a creature of the studio. I will use any trick to make myself sound better, without compunction. (David Gilmour has said the exact same thing, so settle down, any haters reading this.)
Your finger picking is not that bad. Very nice cover! Especially the harmony singing.
Excellente
Very good! Ok now you totally got my attention on your channel!
Love this guy!
Hi! Congratulations I want to ask you wich software do you use to make your videoclips in mac with multiple clps at the same time?
Thanks
Adobe After Effects
great cover fantastic the Beatles truly are bigger than Jesus !!!
That was great! Thank you
Aw yeah!
Brilliant.
OMG I love you Eddie...
Very good!!
That was very good.
Bit of triva: George Martin arranged these harmonies.
How do you like your Micro Korg? It's about as much as the Arturia MicroBrute. I was leaning toward one of those.
muito bom !!
atta boy Eddie!
I wouldn't want to do that. I would want to learn each part as its own melody, and not be distracted by the others. You just have to trust that if you do each part "correctly", for lack of a better term, then the Beatles' genius will do the rest when you hear them all together.
With a good ear you can do that with the guitar backing only.
SUPERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR
Is this really all continuous takes?
Sounds perfect to me! all is good! I am not a nit-picky-troll that find fault with a note that is played 0.0007 seconds too slow.
This was awesome..... dude.. you could be a famous rock star if you tried.
So maybe cloning isn't such a bad idea ...
I liked the tempo. I could rub a toe to it.
Eddie, no smart ass comment this time. That was lovely.
Smartass comment coming next time.
The bad parts!
Comedy? he does comedy?
Dios gracias por éste día y por las bendiciones gracias padre celestial alabado sea nuestro señor Jesucristo gloria al padre al hijo y al espíritu Santo Amén y Amén
I agree, although I am now questioning my own orientation. I think it's time to get the devil out of me.
Impressive singing 3 different parts all slightly different harmonizing. I didn't see an ear-piece or head-phones. Wouldn't you need to listen to yourself to sing parts 2 and 3?
Very nice! Good job!! I have just posted my guitar-voice cover of this song on my channel. Check it out if you'd like.
Nice. Even though I'm str8, your voice give me a bit of a chubby.
eh
well, i thought it was mahvelous.
ЗДОРОВО!
Christians are not supposed to sing songs written by Godless people like the Beatles. What Would Jesus Sing?
Jesus would sing cannibal corpse and Nickelback.
Roomba do not forget that he would do "Iron Man" a cappella.
God exists, Mark, and your guilty conscience knows it.
Fjord Harrison, if god exists, why did he make me an atheist?
Mark -- God doesn't make you do anything. No one is responsible for your thoughts and actions, but you. _You_ made yourself an atheist. You want to deny God so you seek validation of that denial. Why do deny your own conscience, Mark? You know that there's more to you than flesh and bones. God knows and loves you more than any person ever has. My sincere hope for you is that you would consider letting go of your pride and praying for God to help you.
Beautiful!
