Actually, unlike popular belief, Korean and Indian culture aren't that different. The whole concept of respecting elders, greeting them, etc. are pretty similar. I like how these people are open minded. Tbh, you cannot generalize an entire country. People may have some similar states but India is such a huge country that i think it boils down to the particular individual. I came across Korean culture when i was a kid and I really respect their culture. p.s- it would be 2050 and people will still say curry when they hear India lol

(There is no bad intention behind this comment I just want to give my 100% honest experience) Truthfully, I’m an Indian girl and I’ve been hit on and have been complimented tons of times by Korean guys, even by my platonic guy friends who are Korean. Indian girls fit into the perception of beauty quite often than you think. They really like big eyes, defined features, black silky hair, harmony of western and eastern features. All qualities that most Indian girls have. I do however think that knowing Korean to a high level was a good bonus as that makes you seem more familiar. Indian and Korean culture actually has a lot in common... The respect towards elders, doing well in school (all of the high level classes in my school are full of us Asians), grades are important (this is why 3 idiots was so popular in Korea), taking off shoes before entering the house, using that flat plastic white rice spoon lol, we both LOVE spicy food, rice, both countries have Buddhism, intonation of some of the languages are very similar, some words in south indian languages are scarily alike to korean (I call my mom amma, my dad appa, na= I, ni= you, ee- this). It’s exactly the same in both languages. Despite the cultural differences there was also so much we could both relate to :)). We fit really well together based on my experiences. Also I am hindu but not overly religious, but all my Korean friends are very interested in my culture as much as I am in their’s and they respect it a lot. In fact one of my Korean guy friends visited a hindu temple last week

nayna 1210 I think they are more open minded than you think and the dark/light skin pickiness is mainly towards East Asians (which is still sad) but even if you’re dark if your facial features or other attributes are attractive, Koreans will find you attractive

But Indian culture and history is gaining popularity in the West and East. Happy to say that Yoga is gaining popularity all over the world rapidly. Every country should teach about India to there children.

He wrote a book called I Am That, before he died. French philosopher DeCarte once said I Think Therefore I Am. Advaita Vedanta says I Relax Therefore I Am. Advaita Vedanta is much more superior to DeCarte's philosophy. According to philosophy Zero, spontaneity is much more superior to acquired knowledge or discipline. I like to travel to India someday. I'm a Tamil girl and my boyfriend is Korean. He is Christian and I'm Hindu. We are very different but we have been able to connect so well since we talk about the differences and understand each other and also find the similarities in our languages and culture. I used to be a hardcore kpop fan until 2013ish and I always had a wanted a korean boyfriend in my high school days but thought it would be impossible because I did not fit the typical category of attractiveness since I'm dark skinned. After I moved on from that phase, I was able to let go of my ideals and develop myself to actually be in a healthy relationship because I'm not imposing my ideals of what I watched on the screen on my boyfriend but rather learn about him and his life. Right now we are learning the basics of each other's languages, and its been a good experience. Even thought I still have some insecurities of my looks, he always reassures me of what he finds attractive of me ( e.g. my eyes, my nose, small face, and facial expressions and body figure). We live in Toronto, but we still get the "looks" every time we go specifically east asian areas, or the south asian areas, but its usually the older adults that give us the stare. That was the first time I became conscious of outsiders giving me the looks and its a little nerving but I'm not going to let outsiders to control how I act with my boyfriend, especially when I'm finding more and more beautiful moments in this relationship. We both acknowledged that if we had met earlier in our life we wouldn't have even been in a relationship because we were not ready to have a committed relationship and open-mindedness to see each other the way we are now. So it's important to be loving and open-minded rather than having ideals of how another person should be; instead, you should love how the other person is and how you can grow from each other. It was nice watching this video because it's hard to find many videos and articles covering this topic.

Actually, unlike popular belief, Korean and Indian culture aren't that different. The whole concept of respecting elders, greeting them, etc. are pretty similar. I like how these people are open minded. Tbh, you cannot generalize an entire country. People may have some similar states but India is such a huge country that i think it boils down to the particular individual. I came across Korean culture when i was a kid and I really respect their culture.
p.s- it would be 2050 and people will still say curry when they hear India lol

There is no belief stating about significant culture disimilarities being popular anytime...it's just whenever it was kept at the conversation the opinions about it was just not the same as everyone has to offer...I stayed in korea for two years as an exchange student and never have I ever seen so many people being open minded except for those at itaewon...this video is kinda giving the people the false hope...Koreans normally don't give their good nature to indians empirically...so yea if u guys just know BTS and shit and give some sugary names to that place u gotta reconsider that very fact...

It's such a happy feeling to know that the Korean youths think so good and are open thinkers. In India too people think really good about them. And nowadays Indian youngsters are thinking much beyond, they respect love and goodness more. Loved this vlog.
(There is no bad intention behind this comment I just want to give my 100% honest experience) Truthfully, I’m an Indian girl and I’ve been hit on and have been complimented tons of times by Korean guys, even by my platonic guy friends who are Korean. Indian girls fit into the perception of beauty quite often than you think. They really like big eyes, defined features, black silky hair, harmony of western and eastern features. All qualities that most Indian girls have. I do however think that knowing Korean to a high level was a good bonus as that makes you seem more familiar. Indian and Korean culture actually has a lot in common... The respect towards elders, doing well in school (all of the high level classes in my school are full of us Asians), grades are important (this is why 3 idiots was so popular in Korea), taking off shoes before entering the house, using that flat plastic white rice spoon lol, we both LOVE spicy food, rice, both countries have Buddhism, intonation of some of the languages are very similar, some words in south indian languages are scarily alike to korean (I call my mom amma, my dad appa, na= I, ni= you, ee- this). It’s exactly the same in both languages. Despite the cultural differences there was also so much we could both relate to :)). We fit really well together based on my experiences. Also I am hindu but not overly religious, but all my Korean friends are very interested in my culture as much as I am in their’s and they respect it a lot. In fact one of my Korean guy friends visited a hindu temple last week

I'm a Tamil girl and my boyfriend is Korean. He is Christian and I'm Hindu. We are very different but we have been able to connect so well since we talk about the differences and understand each other and also find the similarities in our languages and culture. I used to be a hardcore kpop fan until 2013ish and I always had a wanted a korean boyfriend in my high school days but thought it would be impossible because I did not fit the typical category of attractiveness since I'm dark skinned. After I moved on from that phase, I was able to let go of my ideals and develop myself to actually be in a healthy relationship because I'm not imposing my ideals of what I watched on the screen on my boyfriend but rather learn about him and his life. Right now we are learning the basics of each other's languages, and its been a good experience. Even thought I still have some insecurities of my looks, he always reassures me of what he finds attractive of me ( e.g. my eyes, my nose, small face, and facial expressions and body figure). We live in Toronto, but we still get the "looks" every time we go specifically east asian areas, or the south asian areas, but its usually the older adults that give us the stare. That was the first time I became conscious of outsiders giving me the looks and its a little nerving but I'm not going to let outsiders to control how I act with my boyfriend, especially when I'm finding more and more beautiful moments in this relationship. We both acknowledged that if we had met earlier in our life we wouldn't have even been in a relationship because we were not ready to have a committed relationship and open-mindedness to see each other the way we are now. So it's important to be loving and open-minded rather than having ideals of how another person should be; instead, you should love how the other person is and how you can grow from each other. It was nice watching this video because it's hard to find many videos and articles covering this topic.
