@Aditi Sharma I know Bollywood is the 2nd biggest film industry in the world but I don't think Bollywood is very much popular in Korea as I've seen in several videos when they ask normal citizens of Korea what they know about India only some of them knew about Amir Khan and that too because of 3 idiots as it was a big hit in Korea otherwise they didn't know any other Bollywood actor/actress or movie.
And I also watched some Korean reaction channels where Korean people watch Bollywood related stuff as they are watching Indians for the first time in their lives. So I don't think Bollywood is very much popular among Korean people. Just my opinion.

India is one of the top 5 economies in the world even without trying. They should feel lucky to have visited India.
They probably did not come from their love towards India or anything. India is one of the youngest countries in the world with an average age of 26.
The Indian youth is a huge market for the K-pop industry. That is why they smartly came to India to study as to why they were not able to get hold of the Indian market even while had the US, UK, etc with them.

I HUGELY doubt they actually liked India.Its not only about research its about the mindset and judgements and stereotypes which they definately did not left behind while coming to India.Perhaps except for GOT7 no kpop idols actually wanna come to India.They just wanna do the show and go away..U might see many American/European stars when they come to India to perform they do not post pictures on instagram/fb or social media as such,or may be post just 1-2 pics to say we were in India with same old repetative caption of we love u and nothing new.But when they go to any other parts of the world they post 1000 of pics with elaborate captions.America and Europe/East Asia is still far better vacation for them.So they hold it back dont say what they really feel.Not even BTS is interested no matter how much they shout out about India in their live chats.U can feel their vibes.There is certain hesitation to come to India ,the land of the poor people, plus not enough cultural exposure.Which is why poverty pron and the athiest films in Bollywood when goes to China,Japan,Korea becomes hit.Look at Amir Khan's Dangal we do agree his films have great story etc. but gets it hit only when there is a poverty line stuck on it.PK- athiesm is favoured in South East Asian societies more.3 idiots- problem of not only Indian youths but all."Problem" in India is the key word here.So the mindset still is that India is poor and why the artist dont/wont post much pics is bcz they dont earn much from India like they earn from the rest of the world,plus infrustracture problem,middle income country wont be able to pay,in short India will always not be favourable for them.Untill any band or idols or actor actually like India and made it for us like say Coldplay. or Marshmello.For Marshmello u can feel his vibe,he knows and gets the pulse of his Indian audience.Every country has its own pulse once the stars get it ,it will be more easy for them.But most of them dont.EXO even tho Lay did movie but it wasnt typical Bollywood,it was a Hong Kong made indo-china combo.Exo never expressed much about India.
Similarly,if u try to release a Bajirao Mastani or Padmavat or any other good Nawaz or Irfan Khan etc movies it will hardly get traction like the rest. Indian audiences are still the throw away audience in the global forum its the sad reality many people wont like to digest.Another most important thing is they actors/idols etc are highly intimidated by Bollywood or Indian culture,many dont get it at all so makes mockery out of it either its ignorance or purposefully.Another is they dont or cant compete in India with people who has an already attached Bollywood mindset.Its hard to take a place in someone's brain when we are literally grown up with it.And no matter how bad or good our Indian regional films and Bollywood is the influence of Indian cinema/Bollywood is strong even stronger than Hollywood.It looks like Bollywood/Indian films does not have much fanbase or fans are not exactly united etc. But Indian culture is not about fans alone,its about the design in ur clothes,the type of handstitched work bag u are using etc. People may say we are not bollywood fans anymore,bollywood has become boring etc but even say in Indonesia,Africa in their weddings there will be African,Western and bollywood music more than Korean pop we can be gaurenteed on that aspect.Thats the strong cultural influence India has.No other country,film and music industry produces and influences culture like India does which is also why we have regional film industry even Hollywood does not produce Real American culture per se.
Moreover India does not have the album culture which it used to have before till late 90's which is why Tunak Tunak Tun became hugely famous literal meme.This album culture was actually Indi-pop or I-pop. Bands like Euphoria,Silk Route etc came into limelight.Sonu Nigam with his album became famous,Shaan became famous,Lucky Ali,Alisha Chinai etc. and there were many Indi-pop artists both in Indian and British Indians in UK like Sukhbir,Dr.Zeus etc.They were all separated from Bollywood and was having worldwide progress with Indi-pop.India,Pakistan,UK was actually growing a pop culture separated of Bollywood.
Korean pop/Western music industry both are separate from their film industry and we used to have that till 90's early 00.We dont have that now.
Another thing is Korea does not or hardly shows their culture.Their dances,maximum outfits etc are heavily western which is also why they could break in the western market easily.Meanwhile competing it with a whole grown solid culture like India is a huge risk for business and mindset of idols,actors etc which is why in this video they said "if we wanna get into Indian market we would rather get into Bollywood films for a while"... They laughed about it,but its the truth and they know it very very well even today after 5-6 yrs of them coming to India the challanges are the same to get into Indian market..Example :- EXO's Lay... Business strategy... 🇮🇳🇰🇷

throughout the show, i actually love that minho was so open to the culture and the different experiences. For example, he was so ready to try the food while others were quite adamant about it since indian food tend to be strong in their spices. He even ended up indulging in it and asked for extra portions! honestly, his actions speaks a lot. I'm happy that he feels relaxed and least judgemental on everything~
