The story of the 2 yo wandering alone looking for his/her parents ripped my heart out, both parents found dead. I’m glad they caught this guy and that he wasn’t able to commit suicide. Things have got to change we cannot as a country, live like this anymore. My heart bleeds for the families of loved ones lost.

Massive parenting failure. 2019 he tried to commit suicide. Mental health people were involved….nothing. Parents knew. A few months later he threatened to kill his entire family. Police called, collected 16 different knives from his room. Parents refused to press charges. Parents failed to put him in the system, which would have triggered a FOID denial. Again, plenty of opportunity to get him off the street. Interesting that both parents now have a lawyer, and their son has a separate lawyer. Red flag laws clearly would not have worked as the parents (or police) never made this an issue. Complete failure. Even his Twitter site contained extremist weird items that should have been caught. All of the above facts have been publicly stated by authorities and or investigative reporting by CBS.
If he had just said 'Jan 6th was a great day' he would have been flagged and arrested with full SWAT team presence within minutes.

It’s sad, but at the same time when are some of you gonna wake up? If you wanna go out in big crowds and events that’s fine. BUT please I don’t want people crying saying my condolences when the body bags start filling up. Everybody is seeing first hand what has happened since COVID. All citizens need to start taking better precautions in 2022.
You know Jimbo, during the Las Vegas shooting Stephen Paddock supposedly expent 3000 rounds of ammunition over the course of ten minutes from 27 AR15's with bumpstocks despite the fact that It would have required him to drop a gun after each 30 round magazine was empty, even though from the survivors show that It was a nonstop stream of ammunition with a firing rate much higher than a bumpstock is capable of producing from multiple locations that appear to be M240 LMG's. More interesting is the fact that after the FBI took over the investigation, his house somehow burn down with all of the evidence, and photos of the hotel room he supposedly shot from only show about 50 spent shells. Years later we still have no motivation, and there was strangely no follow up on the biggest mass shooting in us history. Even crazier is the fact that Stephen Paddock's brother, who said he had no idea how/why his brother would do such a thing was subsequently arrest for child porn on a computer running WINDOWS 95. Now he's in prison for 20 years. Now ain't that just quacking crazy Jimbo?

BIG QUESTION HERE!!! So he very recently purchased several new AR-15 style rifles this year. But he last had a job at Panera Bread 2 years ago and has not been employed for a single minute during the past 2 years. SO... where did he get the money to buy all those weapons and ammunition?!?! The house that he shared with his father and uncle were actively going through mortgage foreclosure a week ago. The house was originally going into foreclosure in 2019, but foreclosure was halted when the pandemic started in 2020, and foreclosure actions by the bank started again last month. Did his father and/or uncle pay for all those expensive guns that he bought recently?!?!
Police were called to shooter's home TWICE in 2019, once because he threatened suicide and another 911 call because he threatened to kill other people. Police confiscated lots of knives and swords from him in 2019. Perhaps the initial foreclosure proceedings in 2019 caused him to become further unglued. He could have bought the guns using unemployment checks or COVID stimulus checks in 2020/2021. But if he (or at least father/uncle) knew they were about to lose their home due to non-payment, it was really stupid to buy guns instead of pay the mortgage with the money received. With foreclosure actions starting again last week, that could have been the final tipping point.
I also would like to know how he got all this stuff.

How does dressing in women's clothing help conceal facial tattoos? Just put on a cloth covid mask, and blend right in with everyone else. Also, it's obvious he didn't use an AR15 or they would have said so, but it sounds like it was modified with something like a bump stock, the fire rate doesn't sound consistent with a semi-auto rifle, even when pulling the trigger quickly in rapid order, however, it could be a problem with the audio I've heard or even echoing off the buildings. All of that is secondary to the real issue - something is wrong with our young men, our young men need father figures in their lives that are strong, confident, loving, and gracious. Our young men are hurting and acting out in horrible ways.

Shooter planned everything, all his life, he was a loner. He shot over 50 rounds, killed innocents and then ran away. Caught in traffic. Even though police caught him, something doesn't add up. Hopefully more things surface after investigation. Rest in peace to all the people who lost their lives.
