    Sorry you are dealing with another lockdown in Melbourne, oh boy we feel you Peter and Ony, glad Turkey is out of there's now ... good thing you have delicious food so close to you. Surprise extra pork coming out of that sandwich! Good decision on being prepared to eat in your car.

    • @TwoHungryDiners
      @TwoHungryDiners  3 года назад

      Yup, I think we’ll continue experiencing lockdown before all population gets vaccinated here :( It’s very slow progress here in Aus. Good news is today is our day of lockdown, so this weekend we will get to enjoy a bit of freedom again ☺️
      We are glad we can at least go out to have takeaway food during lockdown . It’s winter here so best to eat inside a car hahaha

    Like how Anchovy rotates the flavors of banh mi. That jungle spice pork sausage looks really flavorful! Definitely more of a fancy, “cheffed up” style with a different twist

    • @TwoHungryDiners
      @TwoHungryDiners  3 года назад

      We can se why many people lined up for Anchovy. They really deliver the taste, even though it's not your traditional banh mi.

    That is cool! I used to live in Richmond. I have walked past all of those shops. Unfortunately I can't bite into crispy bread, so have avoided all of these places. Back in Brisbane now, but all of those Banh Mi's look better than anything you could get here, when I could still eat Banh Mi

    You didn't seem really sold on the Anchovy banh mi even if it did seem good... but wow 40 minute queue? If I was hungry, not sure I'd wait haha. especially with T&L available to go to, since you both seemed to really enjoy it! This is really making us want to reschedule Vietnam as soon as it reopens.

      Yup, not quite sold on the idea of more expensive banh mi but we honestly really enjoyed the taste. They were delicious and we can tell that they cook everything properly with excellent techniques. The chicken and sausage were so well cooked!

    I should really stop watching these videos at 1am D: Also if you go head to head with the sandwiches you tried in the other video, which would be your favourite out of all sandwiches and banh mi?

    • @TwoHungryDiners
      @TwoHungryDiners  3 года назад

      Haha we hope you get your banh mi fix soon 😋
      Hmm that’s a good question 😄
      I think we would go for Lee Lee & T&L banh mi because of the price, taste and value for money.
      We think the banh mi is kind of incomparable with the sandwiches we tried in the other video, that’s why we didn’t include banh mi there. Banh mi really deserves its own video 😄
