That actually looks really cool especially for all of us who love aviation
That missions were what was missing for the franchise. Love it!!!
I love that their focusing on the more practical side of aviation instead of of just flying from A to B.

For those of us who are harcore aviation fans that have been into Flight Sim since beginning or early on, just flying from A to B to C, was the point. But then again most of us are true sim pilots who know and understand things like navigation other than GPS. Like VOR/ DMEs, approach plates, ILS, etc. We are not flying in 3rd person like "GTA pilots" In my opinion, Microsoft has caved to the casual gamer when it comes to Flight Sim.
@@James-xt5cc You mean to say Microsoft and Asobo have singlehandedly made Flight Simulation relevant to a previously unimagined audience who may now find a more approachable entry into a world that they might find enjoyable, in a way that might entice them to learn the harder 'sim' stuff too? Making flight simulation something that is now not just for nerds and professionals, but an audience that now makes the huge expense and leap in technology viable? Otherwise we'd still be in the stone age, or even without any new sims at all.
Been playing MSFS since 2.0, and holy cow each new iteration of MSFS 2020 blows my 80s kid brain. If i only had one game to play for the rest of my life now, this would be it.
This is what the game needed. Love this direction.

Excited to hear the return of Cargo Pilot to FS it was my all time favourite add on in a FS game, It made FS 2004 so enjoyable to play for me. Gave it purpose and created some great adventures.

This looks amazing! But I think there should be crash physics for crash search and rescue missions.
This is a very good move from microsoft tbh. They have had an entire planet available and you had no purpose at all other than flying from A to B. If they can manage to put some kind of career mode in place like to give the player a purpose like ETS 2 does then I'll def try it in the future.
This makes the last flight simulator look like a proof of concept, pretty cool.

This is what I'm talking about, what I wish, the players can walk in or walk out those planes, cars, boats, etc. And I hope players can drive cars normally in realistic roads map as well 😲😀😄😅🤣😂
Very high bar set with MSFS 2020,.they will have to go from amazing to astonishing to beat it.

I'm sure all the add-ons and everything else from 2020 will be swapped over it shouldn't be that difficult with the game not being old like the older MSFS games. Xbox game studios would be dumb not to cause of the black lash they'd get and even if they announced nothing is transferable it'll be changed by the launch date.
They said on there forum addons that work on the current msfs will work on the new one including marketplace no need to repurchase

The only thing with the series X is that the game will play on cloud only. Meaning you WANT a pretty good internet connection to play this game.

@@muska34 Yup my bad. I tought it was for Series X, but it's for the Xbox one the cloud only feature... obviously lol. Nonetheless, a good internet connection is always a good thing with this game considering that the "'better looking" data are available through the streaming service.

MSFS is a good intro sim to start with before moving on to DCS
I hope they take the 3d satelite View of google maps... that is way more acurate as the grafics in the MSFS 2020... does anyone know of they do?
Okay cool, that's 2 of the 3 requests I made when this game was first released... hot air balloons and skydiving. Now please add dream flying - no plane, no ui, just the sound of wind.
OH boy. I guess they heard the roar of complaints along the lines of "why would you run this simulator on your computer"... now it'll be a *game* with many kinds of tasks and activities. Pretty cool looking!

It'll be cool if they expand on the military side rather than just low altitude flying, DCS needs a competition and with the open world sandbox Microsoft has, they can do alot with military operations and combat.
It's a flight simulator, it's not really a military aviation simulator. There's plenty of those on the market

@@darthvader6018 Yes! I would love that. Idk it's because I watch too many interpret videos. But that's what I mostly do in the current flight sim. I bought an F-35 and Su-57 just for it.
@@Mafty06 the only that's in the market that's true military sim is DCS and Falcon BMS. Anything else is old or privated for military training. Why add just low altitude flying, it's their chance to do something big.

This looks really sick I hope it works out I enjoyed MSFS2020 but just flying from airport to airport gets old after awhile but this will bring new life to it. Xplanes is starting to look like a knockoff version now 😂.
X-Plane is mainly for people who like realism and good flight physics, MSFS is just an arcade at this point.
@@DuncanCardewits really not. Nobody plays X-Plane anymore and the Addon Planes for MSFS like the Fenix are so insanely realistic
@@enfantterrible4868 there are some modules in MSFS that are really good for example the Fenix, but it isn't as good as the Toliss A319, A320, A321 nor A340. And nothing comes close to the realism of Hotstart. Nothing
