Almost every interview, the guest compliments Sean's great questions. One of the best interviewers out there in my opinion and he's not even a big name yet

I agree with Sophia on Sean's interviewing skills. But, I think it is the "process" of going through the hot sauces that really brings the humanity to each guest. With all but one guest, I felt I had a connection to and felt more positive about that guest at the end of the interview no matter my opinion of them prior. Fuking brilliant idea, and way to put the team together to pull it off from the selection of the music all the way to Sean being the interviewer.

I'm starting to realize that for the most part, when the guest come on this show it seems like they get closer to who they really are compared to other interviews. The format seems to lend itself to helping people get comfortable - it's really great seeing these people act so genuine. I would have never expected to like this episode so much but Charlize Theron seems like such a badass.

Probably my favorite Hot Ones episode, Charlize is very funny and charming. Her reactions and hatred to some of the sauces, especially Da Bomb, were among the best. I'm hoping she reprises her role as Furiosa in future Mad Max movies as she's one of my favorite characters in cinema.
Sean has the ability to bring out the ACTUAL & REAL personalities of celebrities. Compared to late night interviews where they are just asking bland questions, telling bland stories everybody already knows. These interviews are just so smooth and you can tell all these folks are having a blast despite the misery.
Further to late night interviews, it drives me CRAZY that they always use up precious time talking about the interviewee's kids. I guess it's supposed to make celebs relatable, but I don't know their kids and I don't want to hear about them.
Thing is talk shows in the USA are mostly written in advance and don't let the guest talk freely as they would usually do in everyday life. Podcasts and shows like Hot Ones feel less artificial.

charlize is one of the nicest and friendliest people out there in hollywood, she does not like drama, and she wants her life to be as simple as possible if she can possibly help it, she likes calm surroundings and nice people
R.L. Steinfeld that's how she always seems. A lot of actresses and actors you see interviews, etc off screen (or meet them in person) and they are nothing as you imagine, in a bad way. She seems solid on screen and off.
They put different sauces in the lineup for Season 8 - hotter ones. On top of that Ramsey has a more sensitive palate to most people that'll be on this show because he's a chef.

When you eat a lot of chilies, your sensitivity to capsaicin specifically drops somewhat - but no matter how much and how hot you eat, you never become completely insensitive to it. But that decreased sensitivity to capsaicin doesn't affect your perception of other tastes. There are lots of Asian chefs who cook and eat extremely hot, and still have an extremely sensitive palate. Listen to her comments while she's tasting stuff. She obviously feels the heat, but heat is just one side of the taste. She constantly analyzes and looks for the other taste components too. There's just one sauce she's critical of - one that, other than hot, has nothing, with regard to flavor. The next one, even if hotter, she appreciates - because of its richer flavor. It's specifically because she feels the taste despite her mouth burning. Ramsay just comes from a culinary tradition in which hot chilies aren't used as much, and taste in general leans more towards sweet, salty or savory, not so much sour, bitter or hot. (I'd say mostly sweet - the whole Western cuisine gravitates towards sweet.) That's the whole reason he's not as used to hot, and has a lower tolerance for capsaicin. Look at small children eating a lemon for the first time in their lives. You'll see that sour can cause similar reactions, if you're not used to it. If you eat a long time without added salt, a mouth full of salty potato chips can make you barf in an instant. It's all a matter of how used you are to one particular substance.
Just binging on old episodes and Charlize I feel was one of the first really really big a-list celebs that came on the show when it still wasn't so popular. usually these celebs only go when bunch of other big names have already been so props to her!
Thing what I love about RUclips, is that everyone knows it's not TV. Not everything has to be perfect and all that, and that is what makes it more attractive. I like that the guests on this show, no matter how famous they are, know that too, and let go of the formal bullshit during this. It's pretty fucking amazing 😊

I'm so happy for Sean. I can just imagine what a boost in confidence it might have been for him, for the cook and all the team, receiving those compliments from freaking Charlize Theron! When you watch interviews with Charlize on TV you always get the sense that she's self-censoring as she goes. Swearing is clearly such a natural part of how she talks, it always feels less natural and casual when she's somewhere she has to watch herself. RUclips gives you the opportunity to just be you, away from all the restrictions, and that's great because it means we get to see cool people like Charlize in their element and get a way better sense of who they are as people.

The word has been overused so much to the point where if you talk to a woman you’re considered a simp. Complimenting someone and complimenting someone expecting to score goals with them later is a much different thing. A correct usage of the word I feel is Pokimane, the Queen of Simps, which I feel is true. If you donate to a female streamer, I don’t think you’re a simp, but if you spend all of your life savings donating to someone simply because you find them attractive, that is definitely what you call a simp. Probably my favorite Hot Ones episode, Charlize is very funny and charming. Her reactions and hatred to some of the sauces, especially Da Bomb, were among the best. I'm hoping she reprises her role as Furiosa in future Mad Max movies as she's one of my favorite characters in cinema.

Sean has the ability to bring out the ACTUAL & REAL personalities of celebrities. Compared to late night interviews where they are just asking bland questions, telling bland stories everybody already knows. These interviews are just so smooth and you can tell all these folks are having a blast despite the misery.
Further to late night interviews, it drives me CRAZY that they always use up precious time talking about the interviewee's kids. I guess it's supposed to make celebs relatable, but I don't know their kids and I don't want to hear about them.

She’s really like that on every talk show for the most part. Down to earth and approachable as you can see everyone coming up to her at the end.
Thing is talk shows in the USA are mostly written in advance and don't let the guest talk freely as they would usually do in everyday life. Podcasts and shows like Hot Ones feel less artificial.

They put different sauces in the lineup for Season 8 - hotter ones. On top of that Ramsey has a more sensitive palate to most people that'll be on this show because he's a chef.

When you eat a lot of chilies, your sensitivity to capsaicin specifically drops somewhat - but no matter how much and how hot you eat, you never become completely insensitive to it. But that decreased sensitivity to capsaicin doesn't affect your perception of other tastes. There are lots of Asian chefs who cook and eat extremely hot, and still have an extremely sensitive palate.
Listen to her comments while she's tasting stuff. She obviously feels the heat, but heat is just one side of the taste. She constantly analyzes and looks for the other taste components too. There's just one sauce she's critical of - one that, other than hot, has nothing, with regard to flavor. The next one, even if hotter, she appreciates - because of its richer flavor. It's specifically because she feels the taste despite her mouth burning.
Ramsay just comes from a culinary tradition in which hot chilies aren't used as much, and taste in general leans more towards sweet, salty or savory, not so much sour, bitter or hot. (I'd say mostly sweet - the whole Western cuisine gravitates towards sweet.) That's the whole reason he's not as used to hot, and has a lower tolerance for capsaicin.
Look at small children eating a lemon for the first time in their lives. You'll see that sour can cause similar reactions, if you're not used to it. If you eat a long time without added salt, a mouth full of salty potato chips can make you barf in an instant. It's all a matter of how used you are to one particular substance.
Just binging on old episodes and Charlize I feel was one of the first really really big a-list celebs that came on the show when it still wasn't so popular. usually these celebs only go when bunch of other big names have already been so props to her!

When you watch interviews with Charlize on TV you always get the sense that she's self-censoring as she goes. Swearing is clearly such a natural part of how she talks, it always feels less natural and casual when she's somewhere she has to watch herself. RUclips gives you the opportunity to just be you, away from all the restrictions, and that's great because it means we get to see cool people like Charlize in their element and get a way better sense of who they are as people.
