Daily live means stress. This way of fishing releases all the stress. That's what it's all about. Even watching this video releases stress.

I have just bought the SKP backpack and light weight chair which go on my back. My Fox net folds up and my rod is in my hand, and away I go on my Electric bike. Having a bike means you can often reach areas of a canal or river that most anglers cant reach because there is no parking. Areas of rivers or canal where parking is offered can often be over fished or over baited. Great video and it also promotes exercise

There's a little known day ticket place near Yateley called Watmore farm. A fair head of hard fighting carp, bog roach, and big perch. It's only small but very well kept with access to a loo in stables a few yards away. Andy, the chap that runs it is a wonderful person, full of tip to put you on the fish and what that going bait is. Graeme Pullen of totally awesome fishing channel is often filming there, and never comes away without some great footage. And he has only ever been for a few hours in the afternoons. Near by tackle shop is in Yateley and there you can pick up various types of bait should you run short. A very pleasant location with plenty of character that sooths the soul. If you were to head that way, it would be prudent to check in advance for matches and rule etc.
I enjoyed this video. Never had the guts to face a river in flood like that, but I may well do so in the future.
    Take care Jon. TTFN

Great day out for the last day of the season. River flooded, very enclosed, eponymous stick fish, foot dangling like days of old, out in the fresh air, and you still caught fish. Very satisfying. So much better with a 506 with a stick float, I tie a tube along My bike for rod, the canal path doesn't exist in places.

Sounds good. Ive got a couple of close faced reels I tend to use the most on windy days

Stop eating so many beans then, seriously though, the ABU 506 is the perfect reel for stick float fishing, I have five and use them also for jig head fishing, they work brilliantly with braid., all that fathing with bail arms is for feeder fishing.@@JonArthur

Well done Jon. Thx for that made it me feel a bit better, I’m stuck in due to a bad chest infection. No matches for me for a week or so.🥲

Get well soon Sean. I'm off today too, fighting off a sore throat and chest, but I bet I am not half as bad as you've been, so hope you recover soon!
