- Without starting quarterback Brennan Armstrong, the Virginia Cavaliers struggled against Notre Dame, falling 28-3. Jay Woolfolk started at UVA for the injured Armstrong, throwing for 196 yards in the game. Keytaon Thompson hauled in 9 catches for 110 yards for the Hoos. Quarterback Jack Coan threw 3 touchdown passes for the Irish, and Kyren Williams rushed for 70 yards and a touchdown.

Just by watching these highlights and listening to the announcers you can tell that the game was out of hand and they were making chit chat all night.

You're joking right it's called TV revenue viewership rights how many people are going to watch the game most importantly ratings TV ratings you go Google the ratings for the two games what are the ratings for all four schools what's the average TV ratings watch you will see Notre Dame draws a lot more Nationwide audience

@@manzac112 but no one knew Armstrong would be out. Had he played, it would've been a shootout and maybe even an upset, which I'm sure half of the audience would love to see. I agree it was a boring game but it was too late to change venue.

I just want to say this Brian Kelly should have not let the dogs off at the end of the first half we had the momentum we are driving and we had two timeouts and he just let the clock run out in the first half we could have either been up 24 or 28 zip and I think it would have carried a lot more scoring momentum into the second half Brian Kelly needs to realize the more points used for the better it looks to the voting committee he needs to learn to keep the throat on the jugular all game long

@@delowg7805 as a fan, I do wish Buchner and Pyne get more reps. Both have rescued Coan and both have much stronger arms than Coan.
Coan is not Peyton Manning. Was Coan responsible for the Cincy loss? I don’t personally think so. He has played with multiple OL lineups, including two true Frosh, he’s down to a total of 5 wr on ‘ship. 2 of them are true Frosh. He was solid yesterday, made a handful of great throws. Same as the previous game. Where he was 23/29, 269 & a TD. Yes two of those were huge chunk plays to Austin, but it’s not like you should discount them. He has turned the ball over very little. Has he missed passes? Sure? Has he taken too many sacks, but ERY FEW in the last 3-4 games. If Buchner or Pyne were 100% better at giving the team a chance to win, they’d be playing. I swear I don’t understand the Coan Hatred for Coan!
@@delowg7805 He really isn’t a goat. He’s a good pocket pass sure, but when he starts to get nervous he plays horrible. Buckner on the other hand has a cannon and can run really fast. I don’t hate coan but it was a mistake for him coming this senior year he just looks bad.

Also imagine if coach Kelly didn't treat Lawrence keys like crap he wouldn't of stop the team to focus on academics to get his degree in then hit the transfer portal for next season,and look what happened we lost Avery Davis for the season torn ACL. All's I heard all spring ball and fall camp was Lawrence keys was dominating and don't get me wrong I love Lorenzo styles but you're burned up a whole season cuz now he cant redshirt for four games. And Braden lenzy needs to be utilized way more like we used will fuller he has the speed to slip through the first line of defense for those big yard gains and possibly long touchdown run after catch. Wake up Kelly let Tommy Reese open up the offense, cuz we all know Brian Kelly's is calling the shots for the offensive coordinator Tommy Rees
Lenzy has always been used the wrong way. He's got suspect hands but he sure is the fastest guy out there. The fact that he isn't used more in sweeps and reverses is a crime.
As always ND is the best team in an, at best, mediocre conference, beats another mediocre team.

Then ND meets an SEC team and finds out that they should have stayed in their own conference.
I don’t hate ND, but it gets old when they are hyped as “the Team” and then they are not.
Back when ND played Alabama for the championship.... A&M should have been there.
