Way ahead of you. Barrier already on. Bugs are coming from my roommate's room. We just bought all the trap ingredients today :) We are making two traps.
Driven out of my legless bed on a raised platform by 3 a.m. bedbugs, I started sleeping in a hammock in a different room, where, alas, they eventually found me again. I washed and sprayed the hammock regularly, but to no avail. The solution was to put a CD/DVD on the hooks with duct tape to provide a perfect seal around the hole. I placed the discs in a vertical plane in the now common knowledge that the b's can't grip or climb on smooth vertical surfaces (as in the bedleg traps). As an extra guarantee, I dusted the 2 sides of the discs with diatoamceous esrth (DE). So far so good. But there remains what do with my legless platform bed with hundreds of nooks and crannies. DDT maybe !? TNT !!!
the cold air or C02 temps dont attract any bbugs I've trapped with the yeast, soda bottle top inverted into the bottle bottom and 110degree water that will last several hours and longer if a heating pad is laid underneath it.
Just spraying the bed wont get rid of them. They also hide in sofas, chairs, carpets, curtains. I think they are every where there is material. But I found if they are NOT in/on the bed if you put Vicks Vapor Rub on the legs of the bed and legs of the head and/or footboard they wont crawl through it to get in bed with you.
great comment , bed bug are mostly problem of the poor that wont spend money on stuff. vicks on leg, , used Styrofoam cups. sugar and yeast. plastic yogurt containers, 2 side tape , plastering hole in wall and floor were pipes and wire enter your room, calking 1/4 round . early 1900 home use construction method that in my opinion make bed bugs propagation faster
Michel Nadon Mostly a problem of the poor???? GTFOH!!!! Walt Disney resort hotel that cost $500 a night had a infestation so bad a few years ago they had to shut it down for a week!!! You are ingorant on this subject obvisly!!!
@@michelnadon9296 bedbugs DO NOT distinguish between rich and poor; the difference is, poor people will talk about it and many rich folks will hide it! However, they can be found anywhere, even in a spotless house!
Glycolic Acid works good to Kill Bed Bugs, it,s in disinfectants such as Pine-Sol, mix pine-sol with water and a little laundry soap in a spray bottle and spry the bed, base of walls and suspected areas, I used this method but had trouble breathing as I made the mixture too strong, my home smells like an old Hospital but I have not been beaten for weeks now, I would not recommend this if you have small children as it contains (Glycolic Acid) and may disturb the breathing of infants so Please be careful.
I have just realized that I do have bed bugs that are biting me OMG!!! You're mixture seems easy and you say this works, If so you are an angel from Heaven!! Pine-sol water and gain if this isn't right and you see this please let me know how your nightmare is going and if you have found other ways to rid our homes!!! Have you seen the bed guardian wonder if it works!!!! If anyone has ideas please feel free
Well after the last infestation, we got our building management to get an exterminator and it was like pulling teeth to get them to do anything - I'd rather deal with the bugs myself.
A bed bug lays up to 300 eggs. How could your traps catch bed bugs faster than they lay eggs? Google Bed Sized Bed Bug Trap and convert an entire bed into a bed bug trap with sleeper as inaccessible CO2 bait. After you build the bed sized trap, bed bugs can't bite and they are harmless no matter they hide in a mattress, in a bed frame, behind a wall, under a floor, or inside an electronic. With this invention, It is not important how many bed bugs are caught today or when the last one starves due to no bite after one-time easy job
Don't put the dry ice directly into your lungs :-). Seriously: a little carbon dioxide (gaseous form of dry ice) isn't going to hurt you; humans exhale carbon dioxide constantly. Carbon dioxide is non-toxic. If the room were very small and sealed and the volume of dry ice were very large, I guess you could end up with a lowered oxygen level in the room, so avoid that extreme. But you probably don't want to be sleeping in a very small, sealed, airtight room, anyway, even without dry ice in there.
Victor Sanchez It will trap the bed bugs inside and they won’t be able to get out. Bed bugs don’t survive after 3 years with no meal which is our blood and that’s the only thing they feed on. Without a blood meal you’re basically starving the bed bugs to death. And before you wrap it with tarp you should spray/soak both of the mattresses with more than 90% alcohol in a spray bottle and spray the heck out of the headboard, mattresses, bed frame and all cracks and crevices it kills them immediately on contact. Good luck!
this is a waist of time you'll only get the ones u see. what about the ones lying eggs through out your room? don't play games u see'em u got'em...call an exterminator.
I honestly feel like once you see your first bed bug....its down hill from there.
ChiChi Monroe yes..its a fucking anxiety too sleep..after u have delt with them once..if i wake up itchy im freaking out lol..hate em!!

Lmao 🤣😂😂!!! Those damn things are intelligent as hell. They will find you when they want their blood meal.

Thank you. nicely presented, your theory is correct, although there are better and cheaper bedbug traps in you tube.
But I tried n don't work. Have you tried something that's worked. I'm gonna try this.

so you trap them then what? not all the bugs will go in the trap. this is stupid.
I dont thing dry ice is good for lungs.
Yeast will do the same thing. Just mix activated yeast and warm water together, and then add sugar. This will create carbon dioxide.

doing all this extra stuff is so stupid just put tarp on the mattress and box springs and tape it tightly.
Miss Dee what does that do??
