  • Mthethwa king, Dingiswayo, who was Shaka Zulu's mentor, was a complex, brilliant military strategist and skilled leader. Dingiswayo played a significant role in the rise of the Zulu empire. His death led to the rise of Shaka Zulu, who would go on to become one of the most powerful kings in world history.

The Zulu Kingdown should be giving the Mthethwa people a whole lot more respect than they are currently giving!! There was no Shaka without Dingiswayo.....

Great one. Hope one day you can do Amahlubi clans and kings. The Mtwethwa and amaNdwandwe are all related clans of AmaHlubi... AmaZulu clans have never been bigger than AmaNdwandwe and amaHlubi. Shaka's rise and consolidation of clans due to wars and displacements increased an integrated the other clans into AmaZulu alliance built by Dingiswayo as you foretell the history. Shaka knew and respected amaHlubi until his brother Dingane killed our heir and king uDlomo, Bhungane.

If Dingiswayo taught Shaka, why did he not apply that knowledge ? This is a lie. Shaka was not taught the military skills by anyone.
Shaka was a natural war strategist who came up with new approaches to war. Dingiswayo had nothing to do with Shaka's genius.

Does all this narrative unite us Bantu as one people? Bantus are very good at promoting rivalry among our people by highlighting these stories from the past that never build anything but ushered in the partition of Africa by the colonizers. You’ll see Bantus on this platform going on in frenzy of who was the best and ignoring that we have a big elephant in the room that has prevented us from breaking the York of economic slavery, disease and squalor across the breath of Africa. Wake up Bantus.
