History of amaHlubi - the ancient Embo group
This is Part 1 of the story of how amaHlubi thrived in southern Africa, building a prosperous kingdom before the disruptions of the Mfecane. It explores their rich culture, influential kings, wealth creation, daily lives, and remarkable skills in rainmaking and traditional medicine.
Despite having friendly relations with both King Shaka and Dingiswayo, amaHlubi were destroyed by King Matiwane of amaNgwane. The lack of internal unity within the Hlubi royal house made it easier for their rivals to shatter the powerful kingdom.
AmaHlubi can now be found in the Eastern Cape, KwaZulu Natal, Lesotho and various other locations in South Africa.

Great video....and highly informative. However i think it more fitting to call her a spiritual leader rather than a religious leader. The latter gives it a totally different meaning.
This explains why there are Zulu surnames in the Congo one of our car guards in our mall is Maseko from the Congo

She was no prophet but a fool
Wondering where he was reburied for that is a place of pilgrimage for South Africans. Come to think it, his remains should be repatriated and reburied at Freedom Park. 🕯
This is a myth, no such human existed. Same as King Solomon...he too never existed. Literalisation of scripture is the evil work of ancient rulers in Rome that spread to Europe and to all the conquered indigenous people of the world. And by the way, ancient Ethiopia is not Abyssinia or Aksum. Sadly the wisdom encoded in scripture is now lost to humanity as people were zombified spiritually to identify with being subjects of divine families assigned by a "God" to rule over them...even that "God" is a personification.
Sobhuza is king of every Southern People

I want to write the story of Tshilwavhusiku, he was one of our greatest warriors. King Makhado you are are a hero
Matthew 12:38-42 The Sign of Jonah 38 Then some of the Pharisees and teachers of the law said to him, “Teacher, we want to see a sign from you.” 39 He answered, “A wicked and adulterous generation asks for a sign! But none will be given it except the sign of the prophet Jonah. 40 For as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of a huge fish, so the Son of Man will be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth. 41 The men of Nineveh will stand up at the judgment with this generation and condemn it; for they repented at the preaching of Jonah, and now something greater than Jonah is here. 42 The Queen of the South will rise at the judgment with this generation and condemn it; for she came from the ends of the earth to listen to Solomon’s wisdom, and now something greater than Solomon is here.
This amazing kings people are today looked down upon
Why?
Too bad the current kings are just about chowing money and women and aren't for their people.

After deposing KIng Sobhuza then later Dingiswayo, he conquered and led the Zulu KIngdom, but unfortunately Shaka the Zulu's downfall was occasioned by an underage who he had taken to the bush for a hanky-panky.
There was no Zulu kingdom before Shaka
Ur 4tos r wrng bcz those day was nobody cutting and shaving
Pre-colonial Africans had amazing hygiene & hair. They also had tools to cut and style hair. Such as: Combs, pins, beads, cowrie shells, feathers & flowers. They also used herbs, oils & clay.
Am proud of this❤❤❤
See your surname 😉 I’m glad that you’re proud. Please share this video with your friends & family. ☺️
Am from Mzimba northen region of Malawi and Mzimba means body.
So interesting. That’s what means for various Nguni languages in South Africa ☺️
I'm A chewa from Malawi and I like the Ngoni people? The only thing I don't like about Ngoni people is that they are a bit violent.
I thought it's Sekuru Chaminuka who said my bones shall rise
No chaminuka made the prophecy about "vasina mabvi" those with no knees referring to white colonialists because the wore trousers hiding their knees
The generated images are really nice- usually, I‘m not a fan as AI often fails the culturally correct representation but here it worked out well. The storytelling gives great inside to details (names of the British scoundrels, Kaguvi‘s conversion) which is usually omitted, also acknowledging the role of the women in the 2nd Chimurenga 🙌🏽 Excellent
Ow 😊 thank you! The role of women is rarely talked about in historical accounts. So, I try my best to show that they too played important roles in changing the course of (African) history.
