Wondering if you have a screen recording of this flight? Mainly for the altitude and zoom. Also have you been able to determine how close you can get without spooking them?
What temp settings do you have your on. I know you’re using the white hot filter but did you adjust any of the temp pre-sets? Trying to get the best heat signature possible out of mine to spot a missing dog within large forested areas. Great video!
I have it on default. It calibrates often. Even my mavic 2 thermal would calibrate even when I had custom temp ranges set. Hope you find that missing dog!
So, got mine yesterday. The thermal picked up people walking around from a great distance effortlessly last night while it was cool out. Today I test flew it while it was 80° and sunny. I couldn't even see the guy playing basketball on the basketball court. Blended in completely on thermal as if he was ambient. I went and got my thermal rifle to compare and had similar results. I'm wondering if there are temperature setting parameters or adjustments I can make.

Yes. There above your screen you will see for an example: 4 ~ 302
Touch that area and you can change the temperature parameters. Hope that helps
Was it cold out when you did this or was it a summer day?
Cold day. Pretty much the date I uploaded. My handheld flir has the same problems once it gets hot outside.
