I'm surprised that flying scissor sweep didn't get the DQ. That how people get hurt and its reckless. Yes it's a ADCC branded tournament its not a trials. No one there is competing professionally.
@@TeamDNABJJ Yes sir it is I reviewed the Rules again after making that statement. My opinion on the sweep is still it's reckless its widely accepted as a reckless and dangerous move to preform. Especially at an open tournament taking the chance of blowing out someone's knee for a medal. It's different if they don't tap to a leg submission they had a chance to avoid injury. Taking away someone's lively hood and ability to earn a living for their family for a medal at what one could say is a advanced tournament for hobbiest jujitsu athletes. You're not 35 going for you first trails. the athletes going to ADCC trails at 35 today have been at the top of their Game for a decade already.
@@nathantrotter2509 I think it is good to learn to rules and then make a good choice of what level you like to fight at. There is a lot of things that are a bit more risky in ADCC then most tournaments.
Love this one!
Thank you for the idea! 🙏🙌
