Videos like this are really useful -- Fair is supposedly starting service to YSJ (where my Family lives) in the next few months. I have reviewed the website, but it is helpful to have an independent source of information. Sadly, given my particular needs, AC is still the better option.
Ahhh the looooooong taxi down Alpha to 08. In a Cessna, that takes FOREVER. Experience talking. I'm learning to fly at the flight school at CYFK. We get the opportunity to see these big Flair birds take off up close and personal.
ya fr, taxing down A cross 32 all the way down to 26 is just grueling. Whats worse is missing the intersection on 14 and having to taxi all the way down and then B - A back to the apron. just brutal.
I flew from Calgary to Montreal on Air Canada from Gate D90. However, in reality, that gate was part of Concourse E, E90 actually and they covered the letter E on the sign. They closed the doors from the actual concourse E. So parts of Concourse E and D are used for domestic flights.
Great video. Thanks for making. I LOL 'ed at the size of The Waterloo Airport, so tiny. I hope Air Canada and Westjet don't drive Flair out of business.
@@OnTimeReports Yes I noticed it and it confirmed my thoughts. Good to see that Air Berlin aircraft is still in operation with the original interior. Other aircraft has been moved to easyJet and Eurowings which has invested in new interior
Nice to see lower cost flights in Canada and to some U.S destinations. I look at their logo and have to think no matter how much or how little they paid the designer it was too much money! The conversation probably went something like this: “Hey Ed why not just paint a big target 🎯 on the side of the plane, make it easier for terrorists know where to aim” 😅
Tried booking with Flair going to YSJ, booking was a month in advance, 24 hrs after trying to complete booking, flight was cancelled, will never try booking with them again, I am done with Flair, advise everyone to avoid this Mickey Mouse airline
I see your comment on most flair videos. I have not seen anyone eles that rarely has a issue. I did my booking with in a min I has my whole trip and booking numbers straight to my phone. No issue at all. I fly in less then 2 weeks. I have the flair app. And my flights are still OK 👍, so I hope you have better experience else where. It life shit happens not sure why your flight was canceled as you said you still tried to complete your booking next day. Which I don't understand cause as soon as you book it done within mins. Buy flights do get canceled there always a reason. There 2 sides to every story
@@kimm902 Glade you have had good luck, hope your flight actually leaves, they just had 4 aircraft seized by their leasing company for none payment, I don't think they will be around long.
I used to fly American Eagle to and from Kitchener/Waterloo, ON every time I would visit my grandmother. It’s a shame that they don’t do it anymore
Nice to seek CYKF airport covered in a video. Thanks.
Nice video. Good to see more variety in the Canadian skies :)
Cheers! Thanks for the support

Glad to hear! I believe Flair has already started YSJ service to YYZ.

Nice video! Always wondered what it looked like from the perspective of someone in the plane

Yes, YYC now uses the international terminal for domestic flights, as well
@@OnTimeReports Yes, YYC have been doing so for quite some time.
looking forward to fly from Fort Lauderdale to Canada!!!

Given the huge hits to overall reputation of both AC and WJ, I'm pretty sure that its more than likely that neither of them will.
Good video. Seems like there was nothing special on this inaugural flight, but at least there was still a gorgeous sunrise during take-off
A good video. I never knew there was a new airline from Calgary to Waterloo Not.
I was hoping I could see myself in the vid because I was there to catch the departure.
Thanks for this! You did an outstanding job!
Glad you enjoyed my trip report, thanks for your support!
@@OnTimeReports With you all the way, can’t wait to see how your channel grows!! :)
Please, how to go the that airport from Toronto by public transportation?
I have a flight to Vancouver at 1.pm.
Well I thought I recognised the seats with the red seatbelts, it's an old Air Berlin aircraft!
Watch the segment at 5:51

How tall are you?
Nice to see a new channel. Subscribed.
Appreciate the support!
Unless you tell us how tall you are , showing us the leg room is meaningless. Other wise good if lengthy coverage.
Wow, the footage looks super stable, what camera did you use?
It’s less about the camera, more about the stabilizer that is used
No inflight service? Did I miss something?
Yep. Even as of today, there’s no service because of “passenger safety”
@@OnTimeReports Wow. Thanks for the info!
