The waves on the west side of Kauai, Hawaii are a lot bigger and the beach is sloped like this. When the waves hit the beach you can feel the energy shock through the sand. When the water goes back out, it will bury you over your calves trying to walk out.
What's crazy is the native kids can get past these breaks carrying a surfboard.

Ni una ola en La Paz BCS!! Yo vivo en Cabo y hay que saber agarrar la ola para salir y ser rápido el movimiento, las olas son muy traicioneras y mueres turistas ahogados por no saber nadar bien!

Se llaman corrientes de resaca y solo debes dejar que te lleve sin nadar contra la corriente ya unos metros más adentro te soltará y solo hay que nadar hacia uno de los laterales dónde la misma corriente te dejará en la orilla

CSL is actually in the Pacífic Side entirely LOL. Yes, a few beaches are good to take a swim in there because of some particularities.
It's not on the pacific side it's on the bay side of medano Beach and this time of year the rolls are big from tropical storms
Cabo Local opinion: many beaches, even on the Sea of Cortez side can get waves like this, locals wont go in without reading the ocean and we swim with the wave and tide patterns- we understand the the Ocean is powerful and can easily take us out… unfortunately some visitors don’t have this respect and will play around in unsafe areas even after many warnings. You can see this woman isn’t even trying to run out (maybe drunk). In any case, if you swim in the Ocean- you should be cautious and respectful or you put yourself AND OTHERS in danger. People drown trying to save people like this.

Beaches on the cabos aren't easy some ppl been losing they life there. You can be drag inside of the water, ppl should be more aware of that, no a beach for kids. The beaches from la Paz are more calm and beautiful i can say for all ages.

Most of Cabo's beaches are not swimmable.. A lot of people have been pulled in and drowned.

That’s no joke! It happened to me once…I just could not regain my footing, even though I was close to shore. The waves were just too strong and rapid. And just like here, some a-holes thought it was funny and laughed at my struggle. People suck sometimes….and some people suck ALL the time. 😒😒😒

Yeah… the only challenge there is TONS of locals trying to sell you stuff coming at you every 3 min, and hordes of drunk teenagers. We found great beaches to swim at closer to San Jose Del Cabo. I have a video about those on my channel
I've been thinking about for the last 18 years and that area is on the Pacific side the rest is like shallow water and don't get scared we had the vest tranquil ocean in the world

No es para reírse. La vida de esa persona esta en riesgo, realmente la fuerza de la ola y la atena es demasiado fuerte. Es mejor ni meterse, solo admirar su belleza desde la orilla. Yo siy nadadora de aguas abiertas y muchas personas así se han ahogado. Muy triste.

So dumb for even going out there. They’re incredibly strong waves and typically there is security on the resorts making sure people stay off?
Its always fat people that get caught in the waves. If you are obese, stay out of the water. No joke, not fat shaming or whatever. Your body is heavy and you can barely walk a mile uphill, try doing that with a ton of water pulling you backward. Stay in the pools and avoid embarrassment. In fact, this video proves my point and make fat people look bad. I was a rescue diver, I know what I am talking about.
It is the beach of love, it is well known that on that beach people die all the time like these foolish people.
