The lack off fall damage seems to make this more accessible. In the original you would die if you had a long enough fall distance. It was super annoying so I'm glad it's gone.
Yeah, that helps. Probably due to the game being a lot more challenging the maker of this had to cut some slack somewhere for the player.
Though the fall stun would be a funny thing to add.
As well as a level editor :p
It's a good thing Nintendo didn't make the original Donkey Kong this hard. It would've been unfair, since Donkey Kong was originally an Arcade Machine, where you had to pay a coin for every time you wanted to play.

i love this game's consept it's a mix of DK Vs Mario and DK Game Boy, and original Donkey Kong, it turns out well and it's fun!! i wish nintendo did somthing like this. and i wish the game was updated and longer, its just fun.
1,5 years ago I beated Dk advanced but man that game was indeed hard.,but i remember how excited i was once beating it😀

Sound effects are Donkey Kong Jr from the arcade version by sounds of it :) (spent many many hours and pennies on arcade Donkey Kong and Jr in my youth)

I've downloaded it and all i can say is it's a ragegameinsane! If you can get past the second pirahna plant, you are a TRUE LEGEND (of True Zelda), and if you get past the first you are lucky.

@@BlueTelevisionGames (Still in the same day), now I'm a pro at this game! I just worked out the timing and jumped when pipes went the plants were up, and then quickly jumped again, but the annoying donkey kong physics plus plants that don't stay down when you are on their pipe equals toxic, well now I can beat the entire first level without dying and also getting the heart worth 2000 points, but the second level is just sheer luck! Once though I almost did it, but the I got stuck on a tall janky ladder tyring to get the heart, and the timer was almost out and then ran out and gamer did i rage!

It is. Controls have always been tough in the old DK arcade games. This dude got the controls to feel perfect, which also makes them really hard xD
Using Joytokey but every time I boot up it's a 50/50 on start up to the game or to the joytokey software.
Is there a tutorial in file placement for start straight to the game? Thank you.

@Blue Television Games I'm trying to setup the game to run when you turn on the pc. Sometimes it boots straight into the game and sometimes it boots into the JoytoKey software. Just trying to figure what I'm doing wrong.

Donkey Kong was one of the the best games on the Gameboy and I wish we would get a sequel to it. It is the only Mario game I can think of where you can do a backflip
