I do breakfast/lunch prep for my husband on Sundays and keep a container or two in the fridge that has his breakfast sandwiches, fruits and other foods that he can grab and go and put it in his lunchbox when he’s getting ready for work in the morning. The label maker is cute but I still use my old Dyno label maker from when I worked in the office 😂 labeling everything-including in our camper Reno !!
Storing cutlery in the drawer organizer the way you showed us is such a good idea! Doing that tomorrow is on the top of my to-do list … though getting my family to put the clean silverware away from the dishwasher may be hard😉
All great tips. I store the plastic containers the same way, one drawer, lids in a plastic bin from the Dollar Tree, smallest to larger. The less loose items in the cabinets and drawers the better it is, to access and keep straightened.
I remember really enjoying that pantry makeover video. It's a really useful little cupboard. I don't know why I never thought about hanging things on the inside of cupboard doors. I'm definitely going to do that
Love the drawers! I don’t put all my spoons and forks in my drawers, just 1 for each member of the household, which was a suggestion from Dawn from The Minimal Mom. I decant my dry beans and rice and cut out the expiration date and name out and tape it to the backside of my container.
I had no idea IKEA had a square turntable! I have been wanting one but was afraid of getting one on Amazon, because of the quality. Thank you for sharing all these great ideas!
All great ideas as always! I love decanting dry goods into glass containers. I don’t have a label maker. Instead, I use a fine paint pen to write the expiration date and/or instructions. When the info needs updating, I just remove the paint with nail polish remover.
❤❤❤❤! Cannot pick my favorite. BUT…honorable mention would be rolling up the tea towels. I learned this a few years ago. I do this with T-shirts, pants, socks, in my dresser too. Wonderful visual allowing easy selection of item. Another honorable mention is the utensils! Very cool idea. TY to your guest at lake house. Happy Weekend Christina! 👏🏻💫👏🏻💫👏🏻💫👏🏻💫
Hi Thank You! Enjoy all your videos. One quick labeling idea I use are the chalk marker's from DT. I write on most lids or glass directly so easy to see from side if glass containers (rectangular) stacked in frig. I also label containers that I pack for my lunch the next day, "Mom's lunch". That way my adult kids wont come in at night and eat my lunch for the next day LOL Thanks again for all the inspiration! Hope to try some simple board and batten from your instructions soon:)
I like the the teal label maker I have 2 label makers but may want to pick this one too its my favorite color! Labeling is the unsung hero of organization
Lo e all your tips. I'm going to try the silverware on its side,.i think that will help.in my drawer too. I have to check my fridge but I might try the tirntable as well. I also liked the little label printer too Thank you so much
Egg organizers do not work with farm fresh eggs that are gathered each day. They are made for the store bought eggs that are not as large as real farm eggs.
If I use a recycled jar, I just use a chalk marker on the outside. When the jar is empty, the chalk marker comes off in the dishwasher. You can also cut off the instructions if needed, and just store in the jar with the product.
I love the idea of creating an expiration date label for containers that are filled with items removed from original packaging!!

Those baskets are definitely from the Dollarama, I have them all over my house 😂 Love seeing a fellow Canadian doing such a well crafted DIY channel!
They're the best budget friendly organizing baskets! 😁
I had no idea IKEA had a square turntable! I have been wanting one but was afraid of getting one on Amazon, because of the quality. Thank you for sharing all these great ideas!
Thanks for watching! The IKEA turntable is much sturdier than the Amazon one.

Mine works with the farm eggs I get from my parents!
