Thanks for the video. I tried to go through 3 different dealers in Boise Idaho the last one I talked to was Larry Miller dealer and asked about the Fob and programming 2 keys for my 2006 Chrysler grand T&C. What they said is Chrysler is no longer giving out pin codes regardless if you have proof that it is your car. They did give me to Anytime lock and key in boise. Said that they buy a yearly script to all codes so they can program the keys. But one thing why I didn't go there after I called them was the rudeness over the phone and him saying it will be $90.00 to program 1 key, Then he said " if it doesn't work there is no refunds and a key that doesn't work. So I saw this video this morning and it gave me hope. I went online searched for OBD JSCAN Looked at the list of cars to choose and the T&C only went back to 2008. My question is will it program key fob on a 2006 T&C ?? btw I only have one original key and loaned it to a friend as we stood by the elevator and accidentally dropped it down the elevator shaft thank god it was on the first floor. Finally got it out by elevator company. But then I thought I better make an extra keys to have in case the original is lost or damaged. Thanks for the video... hope u can help about the years only going back to 2008 when I have a 2006 ??
Thank you! The Veepeak/JSCAN combo worked with my 2018 Cherokee. Slightly different process but was able to sus it out. Remember to put a battery in your new fob before starting! That little issue set me back about 20 minutes before I realized the problem.
Your right, your the only one , I've seen with a tutorial using Jscan. Watched the video once and programmed my 07 Grand Cherokee . Only had 1 programmed key and 1 key just cut. Super easy with Jscan Thank you for sharing !!
This video is still relevant with the JScan app. I bought two keys online and had to call around a bit to get them cut (most people in my area won’t cut “outside” keys). Once I got them cut I was able to use my JScan app to program them quick and easy using this video as a reference. I only had one possible pin so that made it easy. Saves 100’s of dollars compared to getting two keys made at a dealer.
OK, I tried all the other programming methods on RUclips, Your's was the only one that worked for my 2006 Ram 1500. I already had a Veepeak Mini OBDII. I dowloaded Jscan, and purchase for my VIN. However my Veepeak Mini was a WiFi version, and would not retrieve the codes. So I purchased a Bluetooth Vgate vLinker MC+ OBDII. Now I can do much more than just program keys. I also disabled the annoying horn chirp when you press the lock button. Thanks again for your video! 👍
Dude! Thank you! I have a Jeep Patriot 08 and I only have 1 key. No doubt this will work for me also save me money and time. Everyone else's method on here required 2 keys so again THANK YOU 🙌🏽 defs earned yourself a sub 🙏🏼
great video i went out and programmed 2 extra 08 jeep grand cherokee key fobs but there was only one pin so I used it for both key fobs... seems like it works unless someone knows differently! thanks again
It looks like he's using the OBDCheck BLE. I can tell by the shape. There are only 2 with that shape, the BLE and the BLE+. The BLE+ has the OBCheck in blue, this one has it in white.
This method works with Jeep Cherokee kl 2015? I read the pin from the RFH which has 5 digits. I entered it but suddenly it shows that the pin is 4 digits. alfaobd may not work with cheroekke? Apparently appcar from Windows does it better. Please help.
Jeep Commander 2006, 5.7 HEMI (USA), I’ve followed this instruction, the OBD Jscan programmed my new key (it said the operation was successful), but it is not working. When I tried to program it again it said it was already programmed, so It did not work for me. Watch out!
Good video sir but u said something at being of video about already paying for service does this mean u have to buy add on feature For this Scaner to work for programing keys if so how much for that service 🤔
@@mrdkendall2100 I did take a chance after reading about the PCM and the WCM. I cleared everything and reprogrammed the two new keys and the one original. Thanks again for posting and making me aware of this app.
I bought two extra keys off the net for my 2005 Liberty. Followed the instructions in the manual using both of the original keys from the dealer. The new keys would start and run but none of the other buttons worked. I don't know how far they would have gone, didn't try that. I took it to dealer and paid to have them program the new keys. NOPE. They told me the keys were defective. Watching this makes me think they either didn't know how to do this or just did not care to spend the time. Maybe they didn't like that I bought the keys elsewhere.
Hay sir telling people They need to buy licenses Before you can enter pin Part would have been helpful After buying veepeap and wasting time on tool that need subscription ". going back to thinkdiag 2 it's free And whats with the demo car Ur a sponsor right i hear in beginning of video we already payed for service U should have mentioned some about fee for this pice of junk 85 $ for seven day what rip off anyone thinking of need key programs go buy a thinkdiag 2 all service free for a year ".
Hi Deborah I was wondering if with the THINKDIAG 2 were you successful in programming a key for a Dodge or Jeep (getting the PIN # that is needed and only having one working key)?
We got it! After watching many videos yours was the only one that really helped. It worked well. Thank you so much bro.
It works for me! Thank you for this video it saves me some money. You gained a subscriber here.

Did you have to buy the $26 vin licence?

@@Burnsey1977yes, the VIN license is a one time purchase. It gives you access to all the features of the app for that fee.

Did you use Android or iOS ?
@@sokai2223 I used the ios version on my iPad. It works great!

Did u need a key already?
I watched this video and tried, it works! Thanks bro.

Indeed car dealers are a totally taking advantage and ripping (gouging) people off in a big way.

You gained a thumbs up and new subs.
Nice one keep it up
Thanks for the video! Worked great for programming a couple of additional keys for my (new to me) 2013 JKU.
Glad to know that it worked for you.
Thanks for the video. Where did you get the new keys cut and for about how much?
Will this work for a 2017 jeep compass?
There are online videos about inputting a 4 digit code, yours gets a space because of the software, the AUTEL scan tool does not need a space.
I would try this myself, looks like an easy programming.
Great job bro! Thanks for sharing this.
Thank you for this helpful video.
Thank you I’ll have to try this today
Great video, thanks! 🤠 ...but which VEEPEAK model were you using? They seem to make several that look like the one in the video.

Brilliant MrDKendal! I clicked on the subscribe! Now where to get the New Blank Key Fob from? Im in NZ
I ordered it from Amazon

You sir, have a new subscriber!! Thank you very much for this tutorial. But now you got to tell me, what is up with that steering wheel relocation?
Thanks for the sub! Steering wheel was relocated ‘coz i need it to be right hand drive to deliver postal mails.

When i got to key progaming it doesnt show any keys just blank
What version of the OBD JSCAN did you get to allow key duplication ?
I have the same question. It was shown very quickly and couldn't read the outside of the device.
Mail job. That explains the right hand drive.
Can I use a obd2 scanner my father in law uses to check my engine with? It's a reader🤷♀️
You ever see if that worked? I'm wondering the same thing
Are you able to clear old keys out of the system? Just in case someone finds a lost key; I know it's a slim chance, but just wondering. Thanks
Sorry I don’t know the answer for that and I haven’t tried it.

hi i don't see dodge grand caravan 2007 in the list only starting in 2008, do you know if it works with 2007 thank you, nice video
