Apparently the AUDI factory in Belgium will be closed by VW group and Belgian government is in talks with NIO and GEELY to take it over. That would be great as it will remove the tariffs for NIO.
Hoping the version 4 swap stations have a separate battery to do grid balancing and swapping at the same time. Also could have solar and be off grid and carry on battery swapping if the grid fails. Can NIO evs do V2G or V2H? Can many evs do this?
It works in China bc of government can and have been heavy handed managing these tech company. Government can mandate its people to buy Nio only if it wants to. It won't work as well in Europe due to more automotive choice, i e. BMW, Mercedes Benz, Volvo, etc. Plus it's much smaller market compare to US from consumer adoption of automotive.

VW Hefei had talks with NIO on higher mgmt level, but there was no outcome so far and no collaboration agreements
