I love playing this class and This Class Remains as (B tier class) This build is good against casters and will work for veteran players, will require a lot of preparation and gold investment and luck. If you are New to the game you may learn some of the tech I use, to gain advantage over other players. Feel free to test this build out.

You avoid them. Its all fun and games until they have epic damage modifiers with massive action speed. No catching them, no getting close enough without losing 30% on the way, no out sustaining them. Now that they cant camp circle vs you its best to COMPLETELY avoid them unless you dont mind losing your gear for potentially getting theirs or unless you are third partying
Its cuz thats your drawback for having 180 hp and 30%phys dmg with the single best sticking tool in the game without any decent gear. Your entire win condition is getting close. So ofcourse rangers the absolute peak of range dmg (whos literal win condition is the opposite of barb, keep distance) is gonna be an issue. And thats assuming he hits all his shots cuz if u miss like 2, barb gets close enough for an achilles throwing axe and kills you. With iron will u cant even forcefull shot. When barbs had double throwing axes, they would just spend money to get money. Cuz barbs outtraded wizards and warlocks cuz they threw 30-40%phys dmg axe mastery axes about 50% faster than the average zap. With no attack ms speed penalty, WITH the throwing axes slowing on hit that made follow ups easier, made worse with achilles, made piss easy if u hit someone channeling a spell (theyd litteraly be standing still at that point)

This is why it was a dumb move to make our franny not stack in 2s anymore. We don't have a bow with 100 arrow..we now have to have a near full inventory of single stack franny

I've been saying it since first ranked season, ranged meta will either continue because it's Meta and it's easier to hit people and win if they cant hit you back, to incentivize melee you have to do just that incentivize it, right now you can do enough dmg to kill someone in one hit before you get in melee range, meaning fights are ranged poke until one person pokes the other out and then it's run it down and one tap them. More pdf more mdr as a base, make ranged do less damage and not able to build true unless it's melee hit and honestly the game will be fin

Additionally, could you provide recommendations on skills and equipment for solo play in low to mid-tier games?

I was thinking about the War Maul these last days.. what do you think about it? When you hit your right click it's pretty much a guaranteed left click and the Maul does a lot of slow when you hit your enemies. That combined with the 20% arm pen it has and your achilles strike + francisca axes.. the MS from your gear, maybe that could be nice 🤔

Cuz barbs outtraded wizards and warlocks cuz they threw 30-40%phys dmg axe mastery axes about 50% faster than the average zap. With no attack ms speed penalty, WITH the throwing axes slowing on hit that made follow ups easier, made worse with achilles, made piss easy if u hit someone channeling a spell (theyd litteraly be standing still at that point. Its about the amount of axes u can have in-hand. Barbs equipping 12 throwing axes that are wz to land and deal a bigger % of a wiz, warlock, rogue, etx ho bar than their zaps and curses could trade basically meant u had a 180hp, fast, cqc best dps class with a better zap and magic res.

You should be able to get thrown weapons back like arrows. Longsword needs a parry window. The fact that you can just hold it indefinitely is kinda scuffed.

This is a build against Casters and squishy targets. The Most Broken (Is a Title I use as a form of Brand for my Wideos) The recent warlock nerf + 5% rage buff make this class a lot better. But in Higher End Lobbies against Geared Players (Barb will not stand a chance) if you watch the wideo, I explained all the points as well as what this build is good for and bad at.

As a barb, rangers give me the most trouble in solos. Throwing axes ain't shit compared to bows & arrows

they are really good if you are chasing them, they cant shoot while full running xD
