Thank you again for showing my hometown. My family The Jacksons still lives in Johnston and Augusta. FYI my sister Stacey Jackson Washington works at the court house in Edgefield. You will see her to pay your taxes.
Hi Dray. Good to know you and your wife are both safe. Relax for a day or two, take a breath as you are far better off than many. Thanks for letting us know you guys are safe. Everything will get better. Stay safe.
Glad you're both alright. Things can be purchased again, or fixed again...people cannot. Sending prayers to your community, that it recovers soon and will be better for coming through the storm.
So thankful you are safe and what a wonderful attitude you have one step in front of the other and you will get there even through the storms. NC has been so badly hit and my heart is broken for them. I have friends there and they lost everything. Their home, their business and vehicles and they barely escaped with their lives. We need to hold things loosely and love tightly. I would love to hear the stories this old bank could tell, too. Blessings in your day and lovely to have walked around the town. 💔❤🩹
Hi Dray, thebtown certsinly was hig hard, but if no citizens were badly injuried then all is good, but do whst you must but above all keep safe and well, best regards from Australia, Les
Glad you guys are good. We had property damage, lost a car to a tree, and lost all our cold and frozen food. Going to take a while to recover for sure.
I just ordered a little solar and crank phone charger. Hope it arrives Tuesday. That's what I get for waiting a week for free delivery! Bless us all and thank FEMA and our President as well as all our helpful neighbors.
Reminds me when a bad storm came through and knocked out power to the neighborhood. Knocked a few trees down and I couldn't get out, but I was able to walk over two trees and power lines (I KNOW! I KNOW!). I called out twice and our neighbors feed me. Phone was almost dead, but a neighbor let me charge my phone. My parents had to cut their camping trip short and resulted in getting a full house generator.
I'm north of Tampa, in Pasco County, east side. We had a lot of wind and sheets of rain for days. Our area pretty much looks like yours. But....down town Tampa, Bay Shore & Kennedy blvd, both flooded. Sarasota is very flooded and all the gulf beaches, Treasure Island, Anna Maria, Clearwater, St Pete Beach, all major damages and flooding. My daughter is in Savannah and still does not have power or internet. I feel sick for all the folks in Tenn. and the Carolinas that got slammed, my heart breaks for them and all they've endured and lost.
You could do a couple of feet of play-dough dams on the floor and create a miniature flood in localized areas to soften the crap that is on there... Helene juice seems to work well... Luckily a lot of that came down...
That's the exact word I would say because this was a very unusual hurricane because it did so much damage so far inland Usually the coastline gets all trashed in the Inland areas using come out much better. Our world is changing beneath our feet and not for the better I think it's time for we to think about constructing atmospheric repreclamators To help stabilize our weather systems
I was worried (after last episode) that the Dray's World YT Channel was turning into the TEMU Appreciation Channel... How good a thing the regularly scheduled programming was resumed...
12:18 At least one can make Pumpkin soup and Pumpkin Stew from the free ornamental fruit laying about on the streets of Johnston (the Peach Capital of the World - I wonder how many of those peach trees have blown over...)
The window upstairs that's a Crescent shape and it has all the triangular divided paint in windows you might want to have that rebuilt out of stainless steel are some more substantial material because it is such a large window it will be more susceptible to the forces of mother nature
I got a response from this Video that I posted yesterday from you and tried to reply with A heartfelt appreciation and it was kicked out as undeliverable ! I then tried to send through other searches of your channel ! To no avail . I would still like to know how to send it to you ? I spent a bit of time trying to support you and your channel ! Have A great w ! God Blesz

Good thing you bought a strong building. Little water intrustion and a few small broken panes...no big deal.
Agreed. I’m surprised all the windows didn’t blow in.
If it isn't one thing it's two. Keep on keeping on!
Glad y'all are safe 🙏 ❤️

That doesn't look that bad, it was a tropical storm when it visited you. Good luck sir.
I was wondering if you got hit. Glad you made it through relatively unscathed!
The town is wrecked as most the towns around us but we got lucky. Being in the eye was an awesome experience. Wild.
Glad you came through alright.
What is your long-term plan? It appears to be a strong structure with lots of potential.
Oh look what happened to that old bank....oh it was already like that .😂
One thing you can do to earn some brownie points in that community if you have some extra plywoodgoing board up that man's store so nobody loots it

I do love Temu! But I understand. Thanks for watching!

I only saw one. All the low stuff stayed pretty safe.

It’s as if solar power doesn’t exist

IMAGINE IN GAZA NO WATER NO ELECTRICITE NO GENERATOR AND BOMBS
Solar? Buy a genwrator man one that running on fuel.
It’s just outside of the budget at the moment, but we’re planning on it for the future
Well it sounds like you need a micro nuclear reactor to provide power Is at least wouldn't have to refuel it but once every 12 years
I think you should interview TRUMP! I think every Journalist on RUclips would request an INTERVIEW with Trump and make a huge Impact on his Messages
Thank God your place is built like a tank and it looks like it came out pretty much unscathed
