I am absolutely infatuated with this song. It fills my thoughts, dreams and perceptions every day and every night. I keep listening to it with headphones and it causes so many different emotions in my head and heart with these great lyrics, sonic texture, Adam's voice, the instrumentation, arrangements, the absolutely spot on drumming that drives the song forward with a steady trustworthy pulse... Words can't possibly describe what I feel with this song. A masterpiece.

It took a little while for this grow on me, but now this might be my favorite War on Drugs song. It is powerful, uplifting, begging, piercing. Cuts right to the soul.
I had to look up what that means - "synonyms for sonorous: booming, ringing, thundering, full-voiced, loud, loud-voiced, powerful, resounding, reverberating, rich, rotund" I guess it is! Also addictive and mesmerising. I started watching a The War On Drugs video for a few minutes, still watching more of their videos 1 1/2 hours later. :D Love this band. Been playing the Live Drugs album on high rotation here for many weeks.

it's called hard work my friend. touring life is super intense, where you have to perform live in front of crowds of people in different cities of the world, almost every night and then travel long distances in between. Anybody would look super tired after just 1 week of this lifestyle. I think Adam and the team looks and holds up great on stage, given their level of commitment to making each show as perfect as possible.
