It's not often that Suzuki comes out with a brand-new motorcycle, but this year at EICMA we got lucky. Apart from the new 800 V-Strom, Suzuki also showed off its new streetfighter, the 2023 GSX-8S Middleweight Naked.

Two guys who don't know very much are not offering very much to me!
The headlights come from the GSX-s1000, and they had 3 roadsters: sv-650, gesx-s1000, and what this replaces - the gsx-s750.
I don't like sharp styling such as Yamaha and Kawasaki have, but I could live with it to enjoy their bikes. For me this Suzuki goes past a line that I didn't know I had. I dislike the front styling enough for it to be a deal-breaker as much as I like the rest of the bike. I wish that different front-end plastics were an option.
I agree. I can't buy a bike if I don't like the looks of it - unless I plan to change the look or customize it.
I totally love this bike!
I rode the gsx-s1000 and felt that the screen was kinda hard to see in bright daylight, this looks more readable. 👍 loving the collab with drivemag for this one. 🙂
Love seeing you two together. So fun. Will we get more of this?
Definitely, but probably not this year since it's already quite cold here now.
Good stuff, loving all the show coverage!!
🔥🔥🔥This bike looks so fine but tail lights is down🤢🤮🤮
Suzuki better price it to compete with the new Honda Hornet which is less weight and more hp.
This guy again!
Looks great to me
"I'm missing the wind shield". Dude. C'mon...
I like the styling, but needs a tail tidy, sticks out way to far ( bloody EU regs ! ) and a belly pan would look good too !
Hate the way we’re all being pushed parallel and V twins, a inline 4 would make a far better option for us !
I like it!
Cyclops lights can be super powerful. Wait for night ride before judging.
Front looks fine. The lights - need to test in the dark. You'll never know for sure until then.
The bikes are just ok, don't make my heart beat faster, but the girls... awesome :-D
Son of a Ducati MH900E and a BMW F800S?
I like it,ideal for Scottish roads, best roads on the planet!
Interesting to see how it compares to the Honda Hornet 750 head to head.
It looks better than the honda hornet but all depends on price. The honda at £7k with more power and less weight means you could possibly get all the accessory packs for the price of the base suzuki gsx-8s.
It looks awful in blue and okish in white. The hornet is OK but disappointing. Could do better, sounds like my old school reports!
I would love to hear this engine with an aftermarket exhaust
Kinda has Z400ish 'wings.' Looks like a nice bike, but I still would want black rims...just me though.
Needs a bodykit …. To make it look less….generic… as is, only the headlight makes it unique.
the new hornet, and this gsx are nice looking bikes but i am 57 and do not care one bit about techno gadgets. am going to buy a 2008 or newer yamaha fz1. same riding position, but with immense power. we have loads of them here in the u.s. and i will be saving 4 thousand dollars at least.
If the pillion rider sits so high the centre of gravity while riding will go haywire. Why at all they raise the height of the rear seat. It should be flat at the same height of the rider's seat. Raising the height of the rear seat looks very ugly too.
is that child seat at the back?
Why don't Suzuki make a bad ass triple engine bike if they wanna compete with Yamaha?
There no optional windshield
@@ElCoco1984 do you mean the tiny black thing that is called a meter protector?
9600 usd ..... 45 lbs more heavy, 10 less hp, no Bluetooth connectivity and 1600 more than the Honda..... it’s Dead on arrival.
Nope. They should have kept the SV650 round headlight. The front is super ugly.
@@ElCoco1984 Simple LED fix.
GSX-S750 is 10 times better
Sorry, the front of the bike looks non-aerodynamic and lethal to pedestrians - besides making the headlights ineffectual.
It's a poor attempt at product differentiation through styling.
Says the guy who hasn't rode the bike.
@@alphacapo - "...hasn't RIDDEN the bike."
Bad review.
It's ugly af, all I need to know.
Boring same bike same engine different colours no thankyou just shows me Suzuki have no imagination
