There's a cool trick in GD with the cube. If you do a jump and then land and hold so you jump again you'll jump slightly higher and further. That's probably how you're supposed to do the level at 9:50

That doesn't make you jump you have to swap gravity right before hitting the portal so the gravity switch makes you fall and hit the dash orb in the middle

You know it's good when you watch this video multiple times over the span of 5 years just to see your level being played
The way you pass that part at 12:35 is to land on the block and fall into the dash orb (with the spike on it)
