These little updates are great Gaz. Not too many people give this kind of insight into their everyday life, and imo it makes your channel that much more relatable
Cheers Lexx. You'll know from our chat, I was going to keep them private, but when I went down the route, I had so much negative feedback from people who felt like they weren't part of the journey anymore! It's a win win, I think these off topic behind the scenes chats are a great way to stay connected!
Gaz, your hard work and love of the game shows. You have some of the absolute best and most insightful content on RUclips. 2025 will be a big year for you brother and so blessed to be along for the ride. God Bless
Gaz, your honesty and transparency is very refreshing. We don't see a lot of that from other channels. I hope you stay that way with your content, and I can't wait to see what this year has in store for you.

Having watched James, you and Hannah and all the guests at Huddersfield the last few years I feel like I lost an old friend now that none of you are there anymore. Watching James in the brick walled simulator room was probably my first RUclips golf channel experience. But you are all young and career changes and advancements are part of life. Best wishes as you move on to new and exciting adventures.
I'll always cherish my memories from Huddersfield Golf Club, I had 5 great years working with Alex, Tom, and alongside the rest of staff, I really do miss it, and I'm sure James and Hannah do too. @@garymartingolf It’s funny how a “relationship” with people and places 8,000 miles away can be developed through a wireless connection from an iPad to a cable in a wall and across an ocean. I'm a book person, so I love finding books on golf but you've got to be very selective. Also, winter is a great time to work on other aspects of the game -- course strategy, how to trying to figure out how that Garmin Golf watch works. For example, Jon Sherman's "The Four Foundations of Golf" has massively intelligent information on all aspects of the game -- it will take me a year to get through it because it is deep and fascinating. Every little bit I put into practice pays off immediately! Brilliant! He talks about how to set up your practice routine beyond repetition and get into experimentation, and much more, how manage your game, etc. Brilliant stuff! It would be interesting to hear your take on different aspects as an experienced golfer. Not like a book review, but taking one topic and let it inspire you to tell us how you view that aspect of golf. Doesn't have to be every week. Could be every month. It is nice for viewers when there is sort of a "mini-series" within the channel. "Oh yes, I love when Gary does match play. When is he going to do his next review of some famous resort?" Anyway, love your match-play rounds with fellow golfers and any technique tips you want to share are always welcome. Also, perhaps I'm a golf nerd, but I do like a bit of golf history -- what clothes and clubs were used 100 years ago, famous golfers, and historic golf courses -- St. Andrews, etc., places where most of us just can't manage to get to.
