@@greggmacdonald9644 No title confirmation yet. The only hint we've gotten is Mike Gamble via Twitter saying the acronym for the game is MEME. But granted, that was a few years ago now, so it could've always changed.
I follow Dragon Age news not because I play it (perhaps I will start!) but because I want to gauge the chances of Bioware's success as a company so I can set my expectations for the next Mass Effect accordingly. Hoping for massive success!! Edit: missing word
@@tschmal2579 @littlemouse7066 @paragonseven I think I totally will! One metric of DA's success is the number of people who play it after all, so count me in! :D
The Dragon Age games are spectacular, especially Origins which is considered one of the greatest RPGs ever. It was basically a spiritual predecessor to BG3.
Being a Krogan of 44 years, who's played Mass Effect 14 times over (4 times full Trilogy, 8 times 1+2 as I started when 2 released), so I consider myself a fan and old and/or wise, you ABSOLUTELY owe it to yourself to play Dragon Age: Origins. Mass Effect is always numero uno for me, but Dragon Age: Origins....(and to a lesser extent 2 and Inquisition) are right up there, alongside The Witcher 3, Kingdom Come: Deliverence and Knights of the Old Republic. For the love of Alistair, please play it - my inner volus reviewer, Pitne For, sends you Biotic God ratings of 10/10 on it :)
I'm not even into Dragon Age but I'm just glad to see some gaming related news that's positive, so much bad news that goes on in this industry so this is a breathe of fresh air
another thing to note as well if you look on Summer games fest's partners tweets, EA is on it, so its likely confirmation it will appear there which we expected anyway :)
Honestly, I’m as amped about Dreadwolf as I am Mass Effect. Inquisition is my favorite BioWare game, and I’m thrilled to see where events lead. I also really want a success for BioWare.
Can you tell me in which platform are you playing? And if the answer is PC/Steam, can you tell me if it's true that is very problematic to play the game in there because of the EA launcher?
@@SeventhheavenDK I would purchase the game through Steam. EA keeps deleting my games saying I don't own them when I purchased them through EA. Thankfully I added them to Steam before the mess with deleting my games started. Now I will only purchase EA games through Steam.
I am so excited for more news that I have troubles sleeping focusing on works lately😅 Finished DAI the first in 2017, gobbled up most of the expanded media since, feel tat bit strange but refreshing preping for another heart wrenhing story in thedas after drifting through space as of late. 🤞Finger cross it's the redemption Bioware needed to be lengendary again!
I'll keep my expectations as low as possible. It has saved me a lot of emotional energy back when Andromeda came out. But I'd be very glad to be surprised.
@@paragonseven It's good but it's just an assumption. Who are those devs and what does it mean exactly, that they're happy with the game?.. We don't know. Casey Hudson was fairly happy with the endings of ME3. The very person who came up with SFX in the first place. It becomes really hard to see clearly when you work on something for a very long time. So, I'll believe it only when I see it.
Probably jackdaw and yes it probably will be Xbox showcase but hey Jeff grubb was still right and by extension paragon since it's "around that time" as grubb puts it
@@takes2knowgames900 Absolutely, just wanted to point out that it might not be on the date/stream she used on the video, but could be later on, and don't want people confused/upset if we don't see anything on Friday. Either way I am VERY excited to see the full reveal! :D
Oh my gods please. I need good news and I've been itching for more Dragon Age for 10 years, already replayed all the games and Inquisition ended on such an awesome note. We need to know what comes next I also hope that - if by whatever miracle we end up being able to still romance Solas - they'll drop the sexuality based romance options. I was so sad I couldn't romance him as a male elf, or romance Cassandra as a woman :(
I of course could be wrong on this, but I think that Dreadwolf could be coming out around September-October. Hear me out. First we have the gamefest this weekend, which everyone expects will show of Dreadwolf and then 2 days later we are likely getting the gameplay showcase from Xbox show. With two major shows within days, hype for this game will approach levels only seen when Trespasser was released. If they capitalize on that with 3-4 months aggressive marketing they could release a game to a rabid starving fan base and highly interested newcomers in a time that they will have relatively few competitors and then there’s enough time to put it on a “new game” sale for the holidays for an additional cash injection. Either way, guess we’ll see in a couple days
If you need to get some great summaries of DA books and comics, Ghil has a playlist called The Book Emporium that you can listen to. I hope you play Awakening after the main story of Origins. I would love to know what you think of it.
Definitely going to check out Ghil's stuff! Trying to get through most of the series before finding online content, just cause I'm a huge stickler on spoilers.
Its a bit insane how long we have to wait between titles nowdays like Dragon age, Fallout etc. If it takes longer and longer soon they are on 10-15 years between each game. Just a few more releases before pension age😂
They said they were happy with me:a and anthem as well the amount of people who have been fired or quit speaks louder than the works saying they are happy with their work ill belive its good when I see it
1) Paragon7 you deserve way more love. You should have way more followers. 2) I'm not sure today's Bioware can make an exceptional game. A good 7.5/10 game, sure, if they work hard enough. But I love your enthusiasm, and you have me hooked. So now I wait, fingers crossed for a good Bioware game. 3) Thanks for the very, very hard work you do in digging up Mass Effect clues. Wishing you great success with your channel. Cheers
Appreciate it, I'm just making videos about the games I love and am looking forward to playing. :3 And you never know the game until you see it. Regardless though, if its is good or not, I'm just glad some of the devs are happy with their work on the project.
I've been playing these games since Origins came out. All 3 games are amazing (2 is definitely the weakest) and have just as brilliant DLCs. Waited too long for this game and I hope its good and successful, because if it isnt, Bioward will be dead.
Not expecting DA4 to actually be good. They've fired too many devs that made the series what it is, and are leaning way too hard into courting the young blood/new young players. I doubt old fans will find much to be excited about once they see the game, but bioware might get that new teen audience they're chasing...if they actually do advertising for the game instead of dumping it out this year without any prerelease marketing....which seems to be what most people think bioware is going to do? That would be a terrible idea. No one but pre-existing fans that have been following along for the past 10 years know this game is coming out at this point. Bioware can't have it both ways. They can't court new players with zero advertising AND please the old fans they clearly don't care about anymore.
The most concerning thing for me is that its gone through multiple delays and had different sets of fingerprints on the project. As long as it's decent I'd be happy with it, but granted, I'm a very new DA fan.
OF COURSE the developers are going to say they're happy with the game. They NEED to sell. It could be a great game, but I'm not taking their word for it.
🤞🏻for Dreadwolf to release before N7day then a Mass Effect subtitle reveal. 🙏🏻
I need a Mass Effect title more than the game at this point.
Even just a tease that a title is going to be revealed would probably send me into orbit.
