Shiv Prasad Lassi: This shop is very famous for lassi and is at walking distance from Ram nagar fort.

Lal Bahadur Shastri Smriti Bhawan: 2nd Prime Minister of India, his old house converted into memorial. This is at walking distance from Ramanagar fort.

R M Adventure: water sports activities have recently started at varanasi. This happens on back side of Ram nagar fort.

Shri Vishwanath Temple: This temple is not the famous Kashi Vishwanath temple, this is at BHU.

Sarnath: This is the place where Lord Gautama Buddha gave his first sermon. This is about 10 km from Varanasi.

Baati Chokha: This is a very famous food joint of Varanasi. Though this is famous food of Bihar but i noticed that it is also very popular in UP in genreal and Varanasi in particular.

Rohit Mishra”s House: Varanasi is known for Classical music. We met Rohit Mishra who is a classical vocalist. Got chance to hear him and his students sing Claasical music and play instrucment.

I visited Benaras in 2017. Two points about Indian Classical Music activities in Benaras, ONE. Benaras has one of the oldest music circles under name KASHI SANGEET SAMAJ. Established in 1906 and still active. Its office is located in the Thatheri Bazar area in a 350 year old haveli of Rastogi ji. it has also a small museum wherein instruments of various maestros of yesteryears are housed. Second. Sankat Mochan Hanuman Temple organises 4 days classical music conference on the eve of Hanuman Jayanti every year.
Harish ji you have very well covered Benaras and made us familiar about Benaras. Having seen your videos, i feel like catching the first available train to Benaras and start visiting all the places you covered, Thank you Harish ji.
