I also give the clothes I don't wear to my sister (and sister-in-law) or I donate them to my job. We are a court ordered rehab, a lot of the women were homeless before coming into our program so sometimes the clothes they get from our closet are the nicest clothes they have had in an extremely long time.
For the old sentimental t-shirts that you don't wear any more but don't want to get rid of, there are services that will make them into quilts for you! (Or maybe Meghan is talented enough to do that for ya haha.)

I saw the thumbnail and had to click. I never realized how many clothes I have because they’re always spread out around my house (laundry bin/washer/closet/etc) but recently I decided to wash everything and put in in a pile and HOLYYY I have so much that I don’t wear/use. Now the only trouble is finding a place to donate them. I don’t wanna sell them and I don’t wanna donate it to the big thrift store in my city cause it sells them for ridiculous prices. I remember seeing a plain t-shirt from Walmart’s brand and they were selling it for like $7 when it was probably $10 when bought new.
