Omg yes yes yes, I agree with everything you’re saying! It’s a beautiful foundation BUT the MW9 is so light and then it jumps to the deep range. I’ve had to give up on finding my shade after 3 times and just switch my go to foundation -.-

The oxidizing is what's throwing me off when trying to color match the new ysl. I've been to sephora at least 3 times to try shades. I bought one shade that's too light and trying to find the right second to mix with. But I will make this work because I love having the spf 30.

I definitely want to try this. I thought I’d be a medium shade, but now I’m thinking I might have to go into the dark shades. The models for the dark shades are not my skin tone, but I find that happens a lot now. Ugh.
I would take a sample of some possible colors first and see how this wears on you :)

I called ysl about this foundation. They said it is exact formula as old all hours but w/ spf, new shades. Not cool
Ahh.. very fascinating ..
having lemon or citric acid in the makeup of primer will help wearability through out the day. Also at the end of the day the skin still looks fresh. The draw back is the ingredient is further down the list so it’s not enough to do the job.
So sad!! The bottle is so luxe but ugh!! I do really like their skin tint tho!
