Thank you for the recommendation of the Black Madeira, Italian 258 and the Smith. I am trying cuttings of the Italian 258 and Black Madeira but it doesn’t look like they are doing well. I will see next Spring. Will look for these varieties next season, fingers crossed.

My primary purpose in having a RUclips channel has been to share my experience with the broader fig community at large and to pass along my growing methods, personal techniques, and points of view on a variety of related subjects. My current position regarding my channel is that growing fruits and vegetables, particularly figs, is a wonderful and enjoyable hobby, not a job! I do not sell anything for profit, and that has never been my intention from the beginning. As I've explained several times, in order to ensure that my valuable and extremely cherished fig collection will survive into perpetuity, at some point in the future, I will make cuttings available on figbid.
