I just discovered Rika Usami yesterday. She is poetry in motion. Speed, power, accuracy and crisp like I have never seen before. I could watch this like it was a movie.
From the time she could stand, Rika was baptized in the fire of combat. Taught never to retreat, never to surrender. Constantly tested, tossed into the wild. It's not the fear that grips her, only a heightened sense of things. Her hands are steady. Her form, PERFECT!
The more she sweats in training the less she will bleed in battle. Her instructor taught her that fear is always a constant, but by accepting it, it makes her stronger.

But, to the trained eye - there is a distinct level of a particular skill shown here that is a clear demarcation between good/great - and true mastery. Pay particular attention to the sharp coordination of the hip movements with the techniques. Throughout the demonstration - Rika demonstrates mastery of hip vibration, hip shifting, and hip rotation - which are the core elements to being able to generate truly explosive power. Pay particular attention from the 0:33 mark on...an exceptional demonstration of speed...
She has true talent, actually I have been seeing her performance for 5 years as my 5 years experience she is amazing and I would say she has burn for this talent 🙂
Hearing that crisp sound everytime she moves sends a subtle message that gets more and more pronounced the closer you get to her hands... it says "death".
