Really nice looking Rover, I like the mix of patina and mechanical restoration - can't beat it!
The reverse spot lamp is a great addition, I have recently done the same with my 109" and wished I'd done so years ago. I used the foglamp circuit which saved running any new wires.

Hiya mate, thanks for the post. Yes great combo really, like your 109. Keep up the good content on your channel too 👍

@@rovertasmania7033 Thanks, will try! Cold and wet here at the moment so I'm confined to the workshop, hope to finish the gearbox build soon.

that lead wheel weight @2.40ish looks perilously close to either falling off or being knocked off ! (but you've certainly done a great job on your Rover).

Yep, there's too many weights unfortunately. Thanks.

The distance piece you refer to is the shrunk on sleeve that the seal runs on?
Before you put it on put some sealer around the inside of it. What happens sometimes is the oil from the grease makes its way around the sleeve and onto the brakes etc.
If you have put one on with no sealer and it’s not been put into use - try wicking in a bit of lock tight.

This was definitely the seal, now it's all fine thankfully!

Nice update! How did you adjust the roof to tub distance? Did you put a thicker washer in the corner or is there other adjustment locations? I see on mine there’s a bracket by the side door and rear door and a washer in the corner.

I removed the two brackets by the rear door as they where causing the issue. I will be making my own for those. I also had to make some adjustments on the brackets at the b-pillars, same angled brackets. They where pushing the sides out causing miss alignment and door not shutting properly. Much better now but not 100%.

@@rovertasmania7033 ah ok. I’ll have to take a closer look once I take the roof off.
