Mine has the dual tank setup with a selector valve. A previous owner removed the engine driven fuel pump and put in an electric fuel pump. There are fuel hoses running back and forth across the top of the overdrive unit with no fuel gauge connected to the second tank. It’s a mess down there. I’m in the process of cleaning it up.
Your looks like a neat and tidy installation.👌

You can drive a lone way with all that fuel capacity? Job well done😃👍🏁🍺

Thats the reason, plus add a 20ltr Jerry can and got loads. Also keeps the weight low, no heavy fuel cans on a roof rack for me!

just a caution about that type of pump - they're designed to pump up to pressure then cut out and just maintain the pressure, so using it as a transfer pump will shorten it's life significantly. I went through quite a few of them on a similar set up before I realised that's why they were dying. You can get a specifically designed transfer pump that will last much longer.

Thanks Adam, this was a cheap option so I dont expect it to last too long. But at least now I know the layout works fine.
