I was quite surprised of the game as I had no clue about it and not expected to find such a modern product in a Western arcade as they are slooowly dying. :( I love the game's graphics but was not too thrilled about how the fire rate varied a LOT during the game. I had the feeling Microsoft used that game as a testbed for their planned PC game release of the franchise.
In fact the damage is based on how much damage you survived during your playtime, when you survive long enough without taking damage, you will take more damage for the next shots to the player, this game mechanic was also used on Terminator: Salvation, Aliens: Armageddon and The Walking Dead which also created by the same studios Raw Thrills and PlayMechanix. But this game is fairly unbalanced at all as the enemies in this game are directly shoot on sight without any warnings. Also, the gameplay recorded is 2 player cabinet, theres also a 4 player cabinet that have widen screen.
Do not forget other games like Lost Land Adventure (1 credit doable but increased damage taken when progressing with no damage), Dark Escape and possibly Monster Eye iirc

Raw thrills games in general are designed primarily to clean out your wallet more than other games in the arcades.
St. Rizla Jurassic Park Arcade being the exception as that game is very easy to 1 credit.

敵を撃っていても怯むのが少ないので、撃ち続けるしかなさそうですね。
画面の半分で受けるダメージが分かれているのが救いかもですね。
ぜひやってみたいです。
敵が全然怯まないので一発も外さないエイム力が求められると思います。
貴方の言う通り、1Pは画面左の敵（2Pなら画面右の敵)だけを倒せば大丈夫です。
ダメージを受けていない時間が長いほど、次の一発が大きくなるという仕様があるみたいなので、コンティニュー必須ですね...。

僕も難易度があまりに高すぎて良い作品とは言えないと思います。コメントで書いていただいた通り、被弾必須&ダメキャン少な目に加えてこのゲーム(このゲームを作っている制作会社)は「時間経過すると被ダメージが爆発的に増える」という恐ろしい仕様があります。
例を挙げると、たとえノーダメージで進んでいたとしても、ゲーム開始から10分前後経過すると最弱の雑魚敵からの攻撃で体力全部持っていかれます。
インカム(筐体があげる利益)の問題でプレイヤーにお金を払わせる必要があるのはわかりますけど、ここまで露骨に強制的にゲームオーバーにさせるのはどうなのかなと思いますね…。
